INTRODUCTION
Project Charter can be considered as a statement or short document which is related to
objectives of a particular task. It majorly contains number of elements like goals, responsibilities,
primal stakeholders along with duty or authority which the project manager is going to have till
the desired target gets achieved (Badewi,2016). Away with this, a charter of a project also
consists with risks, benefits and a summarised form of a detailed budget. In this project, an
Australian consulting firm has been taken i.e. Virtucon. On the other hand, Globex are farming
company have made contract with Virtucon so that to develop user friendly and effective in
improving interactions among buyers and seller. Assignment will keep its focus over measurable
organisational value (MOV), scope of project and it will also develop a scope management plan
that will help in controlling the whole project. Apart from this project risk analysis and quality
management plan with closure checklist is going to be prepared so that evaluation of project can
be done in much effective sense.
Overview
Virtucon Consultancy which is one of the famous Australian consulting business firm
contracted with Globex Corporation in order to develop an online website along with application
considering name as iCrop. Primal feature of iCrop is to make company much digitalised as
Globex so that selling and buying along with management of warehouse of grains can be done in
much effective way. Apart from this, they have also decided to provide services like online
payment, better customer service and many more other services to its clients through online.
Major aim of developing iCrop is that to improve money transacting process among clients and
Globex. They have asked Virtucon to develop website and application with many special
features so that it do not cost much Globex in interrupted network times as well. Another feature
which Globex wants is that and online website should be user friendly and can be used by any
person with keeping the process of transaction much simpler.

Measurable Organisational Value (MOV)
Measurable Organisational Value can be considered as the first phase of project that
begins with abstracting goal and overall measure of success of a project (Bucero and Englund,
2015). It has been analysed that MOV is majorly prepared or develop in order to understand that

how much a project is going to value at the time of bringing it in front of consumers or clients.
On the other hand, it is being found that providing value to Globex of a project, it is required to
support set mission, goals or strategy and make it systematic. With the help of developing proper
MOV, project manager can easily deliver the information related to the project and its value to
his/her team. On the other hand, it has been found that major goal of project is that to develop a
user friendly online through which company can make financial transactions with its customers
in a quick and easy sense.
Apart from this, it has also been examined that with the help of measuring the overall
organisational value, Globex can be verifiable at the time of execution of project. While
executing this project, there are some major impacts that has been found like strategy can be
changed because of external or governmental forces, customer's view point got changed for the
company, project may cost high to company and lastly, operational and social factors can also
get affected while bringing in changes (Conforto and et. al., 2014). Here, topmost rank can be
given to finance section because major goal is to develop iCrop it will directly improve
transactional process of payments. On the other hand, financial section has been carried out on
the first because developing an attractive internet application requires high investment. Second
priority which is being given is to strategy because almost all the farms of Globex are at remote
areas.
Thus, it will be required for Virtucon Consultancy to create easy to use iCrop and for this
it is must for them to develop proper strategy as per the requirements because of remote area
which is having less connectivity. Third rank can be given to customer because the application
which is going to be made will help consumers to reach directly to Globex where they can get
information related to grains that they are selling. On the fourth number, operations is fitting as
per the scenario as it will developing a website and application will make company more
effective in nature where they can store information online related to customers. Lastly, social
factor will be considered as something which will affect less because developing a website
would not impact much over this section.
Major benefit which is being carried out in this context is that it will help both buyer and

less time consuming g. This is reasoned as another approach because developing an
effective online website will automatically help Globex to give faster services to its

Virtucon needs to make quick response based application and website for those areas as
well where there is low network connectivity. Because, no customer likes to wait over
receiving information or making payment/receiving products. Therefore, this element is
being considered as another approach that may lead Globex to improve its image in front
of its clients and competitors.

they can connect with consumers of remote areas. Scope of this project is huge as this will assist
Globex in making money transitioning process much faster in comparison to those of traditional
approaches of making payments. On the other hand, project's scope is going to be easily
managed with the help of continuous monitoring ability of project manager.
