Information and communication technology is an wider term to understand that covers
any product which store, retrieve, manipulate, receive and transmit information electronically in
a digital form. For instance, personal computers, emails, robots and digital television (Patel,
2017). It has advantages such as with the help of ICT communication become more quicker and
efficient,video conference saves money on flights and accommodation, sending and receiving
mails become much cheaper than phone calls, ICT gives a great success to businesses by
providing automated client access to a websites or voicemail for 24 hours etc. (Advantages of
ICT, 2019).
It has a big impact on our daily lives such as it become easy for people to communicate
instantly by audio and video conferencing, gives a new opportunities to people for leisure and
entertainment, facility to increase contacts and build relationship with people all over the world
(Impact of ICT on our daily lives, 2019). It improved access to education that creates new job
opportunities for people. Moreover, it gives access to new tools which is not already exist, it
helps people to overcome the disabilities for instance screen magnification, screen reading
software enables partially sighted or blind people to work with ordinary text instead of Braille
(Pade-Khene, Mallinson and Sewry, 2011). After coming of ICT work of people become so easy
and they works in efficient manner. The main aim of ICT are to develop ICT capability in
finding, selecting and using information, to make effective and appropriate communication,
monitor and control event both real and imaginary and develop language and communication
skills in other areas. Therefore it has been interpreted that ICT is important for businesses,
individual as well as others that make easy life and communicating in very less time in effective
manner (Marnewick, 2012).
