INTRODUCTION
Communication is an effective tool which helps in transferring information from one
person to another. This is an important process where the sender transmit the message to the
receiver and the receiver decodes it and give feedback.
This study will highlight, importance of Information and communication technology.
This report will further include, two different email providers and compare and contrast their
features and application on business. Furthermore, this study highlights, online research skills
and digital communication skills.
MAIN BODY
Communication is an effective process of transferring information from one person to
another for transmitting data and better understanding. Communication helps in directing person
for effective decision making and better performing for more accurate results and outcomes.
Every communication involves a message, one sender and a recipient. This process helps in
transmitting message from a sender to a recipient to gain more understanding and transmission of
data from one person to another. The sender “encodes” the information or message and the
reviver decodes it and give feedback.
Communication process
It is an effective process through which the process starts with conceptualization of thoughts,
ideas and effectively transmit the message by using appropriate channel to the receiver. The
receiver in turn will will decode the message and give feedback (What is Communication? -
Definition & Importance, 2019).

Information and communication technology is an important tool which helps in provide
access to various information through telecommunications and communication technologies.
This includes cellphones, wireless networks, internet and other different communication
mediums (Boissy and et.al., 2016). Information and communication technology has become
widely important and is used in sharing information to the wide range of people across the work.
Information and communication technology helps in wider knowledge and effectively gain and
access information through different sources (Yoo and Park, 2015) Communication technology
is important for business, education sector and individual. Business heavily rely on these
technologies to communication and transmit information from one person to another. It also
helps in expanding their business by maintaining relation with each individuals. Information and
communication technology helps in boosting up the communication process (ICT (information
and communications technology, or technologies), 2019).
Various technologies like emails, video conferencing, social media channels, faxes,
texting, mobile phone, video chat rooms, parental security apps, digital tech network, free
internet calls, etc. helps in transmitting information from one person to another on a real time

basis. Information and communication technology helps in easy and effective communication,
social interaction. The key components of Information and communication technology are cloud
computing, software, hardware, transactions, communication technology, data integration,
computer, telephones, digital TV's, smartphones, robots, artificial intelligence and internet
access.
Compare and contrast different email providers
E- mail is an effective hub for every business to communicate easily and transmit
information within the organizational structure and outside the organization for effective
decision making and strategic implementation of plan. The email provider will help in effectively
send information and receive mail for the own personal domain. The key features of email
providers are custom domain, 24/7 support, security features, mail box storage, sending size
limits (Farbod Ghamari and Majd, 2014).
The two main different email providers and their compatibility and stability for business:
Gmail: It is one of the best free email service provider which is simple and user friendly. It was
developed by Google and helps in reciveing nad sending mail, block spam and various other
specific email task.
Zoho email: Zoho email is an integrated mail based on customer relationship management
(CRM) for effective communication and transmission of information within various different
business departments.
Features of Gmail an Zoho mail email provider:
Gmail and Zoho mail are both email servers. Gmail is an effective cloud computing app
by using google software. On the contrary, Zoho mail is a business solution email provider for
CRM and use MS Office suite application. Gmail is a free email app, whereas Zoho mail is also
a free email provider as it allows 25 users for single domain with the limit of 5 GB per individual
user. Gmail maintains history for each document and can be easily On the contrary, Zoho mail
avail 22 businesses and office apps. It helps in inserting HTML and CSS from web. Gmail helps
in cannot preserve MS office formatting but on the contrary Zoho mail is better at formatting.
Gmail is slightly more powerful and have more features than Zoho mail. Gmail has an excellent

undo the message sent. It is beneficial in sending large attachments, money and scheduling
messages. Another feature attached with Gmail is mail can be snoozed and two factor

features, 2019). on the contrary, Zoho mail has advanced features and can be accessed from
anywhere. It has better accessibility and integration. It has various filters which helps in
managing emails by cleaning inbox by trashing and archiving the mails in bulk. Zoho mail has
various features attached with it which includes custom domain, 24/7 support experts, hassle free
migration, privacy guarantee, team and collaboration, integrated calender, task, notes, contacts
and bookmarks. Zoho mail has advanced features, filters, powerful control management, email
policies, two factor authentication, user and group management for better security and privacy.
Gmail use google suite application to mange the work and organize emails. Google+
helps in communication and google drive for storage. Zoho mail has various applications like
mail suite app, Zoho app and Zapier.
Gmail is useful for virus protection and is suitable for business as it helps in integrating
and organizing all emails. It is safe, secure and private. It helps in elevating email conversations
with video conferencing and chat for effectively communicating and transmitting message. It
helps in quick management, easy collaboration and prompt email response on the real time basis

secure for the business with enhanced collaboration feature. Zoho mail has good privacy and
security, email policies, two factor authentication, organizing and synchronizing data by
maintaining effective CRM relationship with customers. It helps in managing various accounts

The key skills attached with each individual to evaluate resources online must investigate
that the website must be authentic, accurate, reliable, coverage, currency and purpose. The
resources must be accurate, reliable and valid and free from biasses. The data collected should be
clear and must not be manipulated and fraudulent. It should give true facts about the particular
subject matter. The credibility and reliability of data helps in gathering effective information
with intact accuracy and reliability (Wang and et.al., 2014).

and outcomes. Displaying persistence by continuously surfing for information for more broad
and wider perspective. Another skills an individual must possess that one should be patient and
display emotional resilience despite various challenges. Respecting intellectual property rights
and effective skills to use social network sites. Some of the other skills are effective
communication, attention to detain, in-depth understanding, technical, critical and analytical
skills, planning and scheduling (Rouseand Al‐Maqbali, 2014).
Digital communication helps ion communicating with people online using various
effective technology like telephones, smartphones, gadgets, computers, laptops, internet, email,
video conferencing, audio calling, social media platforms. It helps in electronically transferring
information from one person to another. Digital communication skills is very useful to gain
access to information and for better communication and transmission of message from one
person to another. Effective digital communication skills includes empathy, flexibility, curiosity,
technical skills and knowledge, adaptability, flexibility, commitment to learning, networking,
efficiency, active listening, friendliness, understanding, clarity, confidence, responsiveness,
collaboration. Effective communication skills helps individual to grow and expand their
knowledge and maintain strong relationship with each individual with efficacy and clarity
(Cheruvelil and et.al., 2014).

From the above study it has been summarized that, Information and communication
technology is an effective tool which helps in provide access to various information through
telecommunications. This study further compare and contrast on two different email providers
like Gmail and Zoho mail. Their application on the business and comparison of their features.
This study has also concluded and evaluated online research skills and digital communication
skills.
