INTRODUCTION
The era of technological improvement's is running at an exponentially increasing rate
(Vajjhala and Strang, 2018). Thus, it is one of the dominating factors that aids to shape
the competitiveness of enterprise. There are number of enterprises that uses technical
advancements to manage the specific task on daily basis. Furthermore, managing
technical advancement is inclusive of planning, designing, optimizing, operating and
controlling technical commodities.
The present report is based on business activities of Tesco, deals in multinational
groceries and provide services as being retail sector. Furthermore, assignment will
focus on number of topics as aims and objective will be framed based on research
topic, the literature review will be conducted based on objectives.
Literature review

on topic. It can be conducted with help of survey, online articles and other resources.

major cost that is faced by an organisation is obsoletion of the former technology. This
effects the profits as well working capital of the organization and directly have an impact
on the performance of the business. Sometimes the image of the organisation is linked
with the use of latest and updated technology, so it becomes essential for the business
to get updates time to time and remain at the same position with maintaining the same
level of reputation in the market.
On the contrary Vigneshvar and et.al., (2016) is of the view that technological
advancements are integral part of business enterprises making is importance for each
organisation to adapt to the latest technology. With this the organisation becomes more
productive and their performances gets boosted up. Technology advancement has
simplified the way we do things, it saves time, it increases on production, it simplifies
communication, it has improved health care and it has also improved our educational
environment. Negatively, technology advancement has made humans so lazy,
technology users are so dependent on new advance tech tools, this laziness has
resulted into less innovation, it has increased on health risks because technology users

gathered with first-hand information.
Data analysis- This is term that is defined as process of inspecting,
transforming, cleansing and modelling data with aim of discovering depth
information and should support in decision making (Kumar, 2019). Thus, it can
be conducted with help of qualitative and quantitative data. In order to carry out
the present research the researcher will have the use of qualitative techniques in
terms to gain depth insights into company.

competitive advantage in product, processes and services. Technology management
