1. Introduction
The Ransford is in their primary stages for the development of an ICT based environment
within the college premises. The college management is responsible for providing quality of
education to their students. However, they have learnt the impacts of ICT and the possible areas
in which ICT based education would be able to impact and put benefit for the organisation. The
college is expanding and thus the use of ICT based systems would facilitate the new learning
procedures. This report thus puts focus on the appropriate number of technical devices that
would be incurred within the organisation. It also discusses the budget for completing the project
and mentions the time frame under which the project would reach to the final stages.
2. Overview
The primary purpose of the project is to implement an ICT environment within the
classroom. The new developed classroom would be equipped with the latest ICT facilities that
would suit their learning outcomes and also enhance the quality of learning.
The scope of the project include the various measures that would be taken for facilitating
the use of ICT systems within the classrooms.
The objectives of the project are:
To perform a review over the current educational procedures and thus implement the
latest technologies based on ICT
To familiarise the students with the latest software and thus provide a high learning
experience
To help the students in learning new program based on Information Technology

3.1 Background of the Project
The Ransford College is primarily located in the first floor of a building and has 5
classrooms that are available for the learning purposes. In the recent times, there has been a huge
surge in the number of students and staff within the organisation. While considering the scenario,
the CEO of the organisation has planned for the extension of the main building. They would
facilitate the use of new computer setups within the college. They have also included a plan to
implement a Graduate Diploma program on Information Technology.
3.2 Project Planning Stage
The planning stage of the project would include some of the basic stages that would help
in the development of a smooth working of the system. These include:
Preparing of an initial plan based on the discussion over the ICT environment.
Detailing of the approximate budget that would be required for funding of the project.
Collecting of funding from project sponsor
Procuring of listed materials
Ensuring that the project is in proper progress
3.3 Outcome of the Project
The outcomes for the project based on ICT implementation within Ransford would
include the providing the best form of ICT based learning experience for the students. The
placement of computers and establishing connection of each of the computer components would
majorly help the organisation in order to benefit the students with their learning abilities.

3.4 Impact of the Project
With the impact of the changes made within the educational context, there have been
many kind of benefits. These changes would enhance the quality of learning at the college and
would also help students to grasp the knowledge over the subject at a fast pace.
4. Recommendations
Based on the consideration of the above discussion, it could be recommended that there
should be an inclusion of proper training session for the teachers. This would help them to make
use of the ICT based systems. The students should also be taught about the use of ICT systems.
This would help in processing of the system in a detailed manner. A proper learning modules
should be planned in order to facilitate the students to learn the new education syllabus.
