This report will provide a creative addressing of the objectives. Literature review
regarding implementation of ICT in project management information system will be well
analysed. Selection of an organization will be performed. After completion of analysis of the
project recommendation of the web based project management tool will be made. Proper
justification behind choosing of the web based tools will also be performed.
Literature Review
The business organization that is chosen is Eftel Limited.
According to Angulo et al., (2017), main benefit that is provided in using of the ICT
system in project management process includes better project planning. With the help of the ICT
implementation better understanding of the previous tracking of data and helps in better
estimation of the project. Tracking of project evaluation is can be performed as per the
completion time of the project. Scheduling and time management is performed. Resource
allocation can be performed in a better manner. Development of project budget, communication
process also gets benefitted.
According to Sajid and Ahsan (2016), for implementation of ICT, specific requirements
must be met. The entire processing of ICT in the field of project management is diversified in 4
divisions. The 4 aspects are backup and archiving, usage of IaaS/ Paas system, ICT virtualisation
and ICT automation. The section of backing up and archiving will be having the features, namely
Server and data switch boards, UPS, Access control system. This section is termed as the Data
centres. The section of IaaS/PaaS includes LAN/ WAN. Wi Fi and VoIP are also include in this
