INTRODUCTION
ICT stands for communication technology which is an extension of term information
technology and is more focused upon role of communication and integration of
telecommunication. This contains majorly those things which are related to communication and
there advances. Such projects are to be managed by the manager responsible for providing
direction to the team working upon it. This project is going to be based upon tasks in which
various questions has been asked and answer is required to be given for it. Things to be covered
are management of project and role of ICT project manager. Then further performance plan and
various other things are going to be covered.

Outline at least two project management methodologies.
Much business uses the water fall method because it is one of the simplest way to plan a
project and task flow down the list in sequential order just like waterfall. This is an very basic
system in which one step is completed before starting another or the next step. Managers of an
organization find this system to be very easy in terms of implementation (Ahmad, Azhar and
Chowdhury, 2019). Lot of managers uses the waterfall system majorly in software development
industries. There are certain general concepts that have to be used in this methodology and they
are:
 Specification of Consumer Requirements
 Concept, Design, and Planning
 Creation of a Physical Product (Construction, Coding, etc.)
 Integration into Current Systems
 Validation (Testing, Debugging, etc.)
 Product Installation
 Ongoing Maintenance
CPM Project methodology This is the methodology that is based upon project management and has
been created for the benefit of such process. It can be understood through example like construction
workers can only put all things like washbasin, toilet and other things once electricians have fitted pipe
through walls. This example explains that CPM management can be used for both essential and non-
essential task. They are only required to put chain of process in right path. Also non - essential task
has a benefit that they can be completed in any time at normal pace despite of work changes.

Outline the role of an ICT project manager.
Project manager has an very important role to play that is it helps in planning, executing,
monitoring, controlling and closing project is done by them. They have accountability of the
project and is responsible for scope, coordination of team, resource and success of the project.
Also responsibility of failures has to be taken by them.
Identify at least three problem-solving tools and techniques that can be used to assist with
business process reengineering.
Business process reengineering includes that kind of design which has core process of
business that has dramatic improvements in the productive, cycle, time and quality. In the
business process reengineering organization starts from zero and rethinks upon every aspect of
business and try to deliver more value to customers. This has to be adopted as a new system
which has to be focused upon customer needs (Bresciani, Ferraris and Del Giudice, 2018). This
is done by reduction of complex process and eliminating of unproductive activities in two key
areas. First, they redesign functional organizations into cross-functional teams. Second, they use
technology to improve data dissemination and decision making. Organization uses this for
following purposes.
Reduce costs and cycle times. Business Process Reengineering reduces costs and cycle times by
eliminating unproductive activities and the employees who perform them. Reorganization by
teams decreases the need for management layers, accelerates information flows and eliminates
the errors and rework caused by multiple handoffs.
Improve quality. Business Process Reengineering improves quality by reducing the
fragmentation of work and establishing clear ownership of processes. Workers gain
responsibility for their output and can measure their performance based on prompt feedback.
Identify at least three ICT process models and describe how they are used.
V Model
This model has to be represented over the development process and it is considered to be
an extension of waterfall model. As per this model a V shape process has to be followed after
coding phase which gives a shape of V. Also this model demonstrates the relationship in each
step of the project. Developing a cycle and testing phase. In this model horizontal axes represent

time or project completeness and level of abstraction which explains about other aspects like
profit and progress respectively (Dyer, 2017).
Incremental model
As per this model method of software development is going to be used in it the model is
designed with implementation and testing until product has to be finished. Product that is
considered to be a fine material. Only when it has fulfilled all the requirements that have been
set-up by the organization. Each iteration passes through the requirements, design, coding and
testing phases. And each subsequent release of the system adds function to the previous release
until all designed functionally has been implemented. This model combines the elements of the
waterfall model with the iterative philosophy of prototyping(Ede, Olofinnade and Sodipo,
2017).
Iterative Model
An interactive life cycle model has to attempt over starting of full specification over
requirements by focusing upon initial, simplified set user features. This brings progressive
gains and a broader set of features that has to be targeted upon system. Adopting of interactive
approach philosophy of incrimination and development is also going to be used as a progress
in achieving of a project accomplishing. In other sense iterative approach which is being very
specific and has to be implemented as part of software, it is going to be useful in review and
prioritizing the identification of requirements. An interactive process has to be repeated over
delivering of new and appropriate software. In an project having light-weight iterative project
the code is to be represented by major sources and also specification of software is also
required.
Outline the four key stages of the software process.
Phase 1 – Development
This stage is the stage in which application or software is being formed. Finding and
fixing application security issues has to be solved at very beginning of the process. So,
empowering over creating secure software is very important.
Phase 2 – Testing
Once application has to be created further testing of it is required before it is being sold
into market. Even if its is prepared for security purpose the also changes has to be made in order
to give perfection (Esther Paik and et. al. 2017).
Phase 3 – Deployment
After testing the next stage is of deployment in which inevitable and vulnerabilities has
to remain over application before going to market. Configurations in production environments

can introduce issues not present in pre-production and new zero-day vulnerabilities arise in
between release cycles.
Phase 4 – Monitoring
As technologies are being evolving day by day cyber security and technology has to be enhanced
accordingly. So, monitoring is going to be helpful in making enhancement in the issues related to
software and product.

Nature Care Product Business Process Analysis
Business problem
In this case the business has to face lot of difficulties because of not being able to achieve
development of its website because they have not develop there IT technical skills, brand
presence is also lost which resulted into disconnecting of marketing content on Social media
website. The major problem that has taken place is related to lack of skills which eventually
resulted in making down fall of the organization. Also competition was very much which made
an organization lose its position within the market. IT skills are the skills which are related to all
kind of technical issues to be existed within an organization. Launching of new product also did
not help in uplifting the progress.
Current system processes
The current process of IT has changed because of development of technology day by day.
This has also affected the process of web designing process because it has drastically changed
from over the time. Various trends has been developed in it and they are Dark mode which has
changed the appearance of website and had made it look more attractive. Certain imperfection
which makes it looks more effective and attracts customers with viewers over it. Then 3D
technology is being used that has enhanced graphics and has given high quality of visuals upon a
website. Pictures have been used in order to make the website look much realistic and helps a
customer identify product which they are willing to purchase. All these trends have brought lot
of changes from technological and appearance view point (Jin, Zuo and Hong, 2019).
Client needs
Client’s needs are very important to be understood because this is going to be very useful
in understanding of ongoing trends which is going to be helpful in developing of website in
proper manner. This is going to helpful increasing of sales of organization. The organization is
required to develop as itself according to the trend or else loss is going to be faced by them and
they have top shutdown their business. In online market there are various competitors which are
required to be deal with. So, to set-up an online business one is required to be aware of trends
taking place in market.

ICT infrastructure
ICT infrastructure is based upon various kinds of things like software, hardware,
firmware, networks and website. All these elements help in developing of an organizations
technical feature which is going to help in enhancing of website that is required to be enhanced.
Also infrastructure of ICT should be strong because this is going to lead towards positive with
faster growth of organization. ICT infrastructure is requiring to be focused upon developing of
an organizations selling by making its product available to its customers. Lack of such
infrastructure is going to make an organization disconnected from the social media which going
to affect sales and brand image both.
Systems recommendations
A recommender system, or a recommendation system, is a subclass of information
filtering system that seeks to predict the "rating" or "preference" a user would give to an item.
They are primarily used in commercial applications. Such system is there to suggest upon lot of
things that is very important part of an organization. This recommendation has always helped in
advancement of system performing function in an organization. This system is very useful in
providing data with analysis over all situations of market and trends in it. Also system
recommendation is to be done in order to enhance the performance from one level top another
which makes the process smooth and is going to impact sales (Koolwijk and et. al., 2018).
