Overview of the Project:
The project is about the development of a software or a system which can help in eliminating
the challenges for the problems which are being faced by the stud farms in Australia. These
stud farms are the local communities in New South Wales. The stud farms enroll for the
breeding of studs as per international standards. With the above view, Globex Corporation
has thought to develop a system named as OSFMS 'Online stud farm management system'.
For developing the project Globex Corporation has selected Virtucon as their consultant.
Virtucon is working as a consultant of Globex since many years. Globex has developed this
project with him to sell the system to the prospective clients so that they can benefit from the
system by obsoleting their manual entry register.
Project Description:
Virtucon has been handed over the responsibility to manage and develop this new OSFMS
system. It is the Virtucon’s responsibility to deliver the project well within the time by
consuming very fewer resources so that the project doesn't become too much expensive and
with very less profit too. The project must have various features for the betterment of the
system of booking for the breeding of studs.

with the stud manager.
2 By using the system, the owner should also be able to pay online and receive the
receipt too.
3 By using this system, the owner should be able to book from his place of choice, later
he may contact they start from personally for developing the further plan of action.
4 This system should have the facility to choose the breeder feature.
5 The system shall also provide the financial support which is required for a financial
transaction like the report should also generate the GST and BAS for further
submission to the Government of Australia.
6 This system shall provide the facility of selecting the type of breeding, and provide
the paternity certificate of the studs.
7 By using the system, the micro-chipping can be selected and the identification card
for the foal can also be selected.
8 This system will provide the breed register with all sort of details which is required to
be maintained by using the manual system by the stud farm managers.
9 Even this online system can act as a contract placement platform between the owner
and the stud farm and in case of any cancellation of order the payment shall again go
back to the place from where it was done automatically.
10 This system will also have mobile features so that the breeding history of any horse
kept at the farm can be selected and reviewed at any moment of the time.

Previous
Experience
There are various advantages of working in a team which has realized in
my experience. The positive sides are, it helps in increasing the
productivity of everyone, it also increases a collaboration and helps is
doing brainstorming (Cubukcu, 2016). For a given set of the problem, it is
always advisable to solve with two or more than two people, so that the
solution can be achieved quickly.
But at the same time, the working in a team can have a negative impact on
the project deliverables. Team working can become negative if the
communication between the team members is not clear so in place of
solving a problem that problem itself becomes another problem and the
chances of raising conflict increases. Maybe unit if any individual cannot
make his or her own decisions they always need to refer to all the team
members for taking a decision, hence the impulse time of taking a decision
increases.
Overall Team Goal: Achieve Success with Honesty
Team The team value for this project is as below:
Document Page
6 Team Work and Reflection
Values All the team members shall operate in a very transparent manner so that
everyone in the team should know about others activity (Stoner, 2011)
The team members shall be collaborative and always motivate the team
working culture
The team members shall be very much dedicated towards the requirement
of the deliverables which as a part of the project, needed to be delivered to
the client
The team members shall always work as a team by showing respect for
others and never take the decision alone before taking any decision one
should consult at least with another team member to reach the same
consensus
Code of
Ethics
All the team members shall act as per the company's policy and
procedures. All the team members shall respect each other and always
painted transparency so that it can inspire trust among each other (Henkel,
2014). The team members shall not hide any fact from the stakeholders and
this shall be our bed moto to behave ethically with this project. We as a
team should set up an example so that others can follow us by behaving in
the most ethical manner.
Rule &
Expectations
As a part of the rules for our team members, all the members shall follow
the professional code of conduct and behave accordingly at the workplace
with all the stakeholders. All the decisions of the project shall be taken by
discussing the team members do individual should take his or her own
decisions and implemented with the project. All the team members should
put their effort to minimize the chances of raising any conflict. All the team
members shall always attend the meeting and in case of an emergency,
they should inform other team member. All the members should equally
contribute to the project for its success like in case offer software manager
he should always put is best effort to develop the software will contribute
in developing it for the project. Any team member should never discourage
the careless work done by some other team paper in place they should
always encourage others good work so that the recognition can be
provided, this can always help in improving the motivation level of the
team members and working in a team (Brandon, 2017).

Part 4
Reflection
In this teamwork assignment, I have learned a lot regarding the importance of
leadership characteristic in a person who is likely to lead a team of very skilled papers
like our team. We all are equally skilled and knowledgeable, but myself be the project
manager had to lead the team and decide whom to deliver what on which date
according to the communication plan and scope of work for each responsible team
member. I feel, to lead a project the manager should have either inbuilt or gather
knowledge from outside regarding the leadership characteristics because without the
leadership characteristics a person cannot lead a project (Hanke, 2017). I think, to lead
a team member and manage the work properly the manager should be honest, humble
towards all team members, have the capacity to listen from others, and at the same
time negotiate very well.
ICT projects are mainly driven by human resources, accept the use of software and
logic else everything in ICT project is based on the skill and knowledge level of the
manpower. The manpower which is being used for developing it project is very good
skilled at the same time they are also knowledgeable enough. But at the same time to
deliver a project properly the project manager needs to control all the human
resources who are being involved in the project. Hands to manager ICT project in IT
sector, the project manager need to have the human control skill, which can be best
achieved by using leadership capabilities. The project manager of ICT projects should
have strong negotiation skill along with the effective listening skill, add the percent is
also required to be honest so that all the team members can follow as a symbol.
