Introduction
RPA refers to the robotic process automation
which is based on the notion of metaphorical
software and AI workers.
The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the
working principle of RPA technology and
identify the ethical issues of robotic process
automation.
Robotic process automation is able to
enhance the effectiveness of business and
reduce human errors (Anagnoste, 2018).

Working of RPA
RPA enables the companies to perform a task
through remote control systems and reduce
the errors occurred in the systems.
The working of RPA is simple to understand
in which the developers design a machine
learning program and connect with the
physical things that help for performing the
various tasks in the company.

Strengths and weaknesses of RPA
Strengths:
 More effective
 Improve flexibility
 Enhance productivity
 Enhance quality assurance
Weaknesses:
 Larger investment costs
 Maintenance cost is very high
 Produce security issues
 More complex to design and implement
 Lack of technical ability
 The companies require an IT team for handling the operations
of RPA (Asatiani, and Penttinen, 2016).

Ethical issues
It is observed that RPA produce various kinds
of ethical issues in the companies which are
described below:
 Unemployment
 Increase security issues
 Inequality
 Produce data breach problems
 Artificial stupidity

Conclusion
It can be concluded that RPA is an effective
technique that help companies for improving
the performance of the business.
This research identified and analyzed the
concept of RPA and evaluated the ethical
issues linked with RPA. It is recommended
that companies should focus on security while
using robotic systems.
