Executive Summary
This report consists of a use case diagram for a company known as Scene Brokers which deals
with online event management. The use case described in this report describes the information
that are analyzed for the requirements. All the description of the use case are described in this
report. This report also describes the details of using mobile application compared to the
website application. Finally a Work Breakdown Structure is elaborated in this report showing
the details working process of Scene Brokers.

Introduction
This report consists of a case study of Scene Brokers situated in Australia. The Scene
Brokers is a company which acts as medium in between the venues and the customers. This
company wants to manage its operation with business planning process. They want to extend
their business with online reservation of the venues taking contracts and give special rate deal
that are available with them. The company wants to build an online website and wants system
design for supporting the operation of Scene Brokers. The company is introducing many new
operation for targeting the individuals. Scene Brokers needs a business management report
that can identify the system design by controlling all its operations.
This report shows a use case for Scene Brokers which describes the information that are
analyzed for the requirements. All the description of the use case are described in this report.
This report also describes the details of using mobile application compared to the website
application. Finally a Work Breakdown Structure is elaborated in this report showing the details
working process of Scene Brokers.

Use Case Name Information System of Scene Brokers
Scenario Scene Brokers wants to make its processes automatic by developing a
website and a mobile app so that the customers can login to the account
and view all the venues that are empty for booking. The management of
Scene Brokers wants to make it business online. The customer needs to
login to the system for which they have to sign up to the system
database by making a payment of $100. After login, the customer can
view the places by providing preferred number of guests who will attend
the occasion. Admin can manage the details of venue and manages the
booking done by the customer. The database administrator also have to
login to the system for accessing the data in the system. There are also
agents who will provide other facilities to Scene Brokers. The agents
confirms the booking made by the customer on preferred date and then
the admin confirms the date to the customer. All the data of the
customer and history of the customer are stored securely by the
database administrator of the system.
Triggering Event The triggering effect of this use case is that the customer can view
different venues in Australia for organizing events with a maximum of
500 guests. The customer, admin, agents, as well as the database
administrator have to login in to the system for viewing the data in the
system.
Brief Description The use case that is shown above shows all the processes that are to be
carried out in Scene Brokers for making an online website page and an
app. The use case helps Scene Brokers to maintain all the processes
within the system. The use case shown above four actors in the system
who are responsible for maintaining the processes in the system. The
actors in the use case performs different tasks for maintain the processes
properly in the system.
Actors The actors who are associated with this use case are the customers who
will sign up to the system by paying a small amount to Scene Brokers.
There is also admin and database administrator who will contrail all the
bookings of the customers and the data of the system respectively. The
database administrator of the system also manages the admin login by
matching the username and password stored in the system. The agents
who are associated with the system confirms the booking of the

customer, provides dates that are available for booking and also
manages the booking of the customer.
Related Use Case The use case is related with similar other use cases that are available
online. This use case is similar to all other similar event booking system
that are available online.
Stakeholders The stakeholders who are involved in this system are the customers or
the users who uses the mobile app or website for booking. The admin
who manages all the system connected with Scene Brokers. The agents
who provides services for Scene Brokers.
Pre-conditions  There should be a user and system interface where the customer
and the system can interact.
 There should be proper login page for the system where the user
can sign up.
 The payment system should be smooth and should be user
friendly.
Post-Conditions  After the sign up and the payment process, the customer needs
to select the available date properly so that they can get the
confirmation date properly.
 The admin needs to verify the booking dates.

In the year 2016, in one of the reports Google has reported that 58 % of the users use
mobile device (Ventola 2014). They mainly use their smartphones for price monitoring, the
offers provided to them, checking the review of the service or the product, comparing the

services, taking online service as well as checking the discounts that are offered to them. More
than 66 % of the people who use smart phones takes the service online at least once in a week.
In recent days, the customers generally uses an application first on their phones rather than
using it on their desktop (Avram 2014). There benefits of using mobile application over desktop
application are stated below.
1. Mobile e-commerce brings loyal customer to the company
The main advantage that the mobile application brings to the company is that they
create brand loyalty for the company. Almost 67 % of the users who does shopping online
mainly uses their mobile phones for shopping rather than using desktop application
(Satyanarayanan et al. 2015). They prefer mostly the mobile application over desktop
application of their favorite companies as well as favorite brands. The mobile application helps
to create connection in between the customer and the company.
2. The application has application usage tendency and market e-commerce helps in
growth of mobile app.
The growing of the mobile ecommerce mainly helps to strengthen the connection of the
business owners with the customers (Gao et al. 2015). Mobile application provides very easy
interface to buy the products as well as products that are not in the country as well. The mobile
application is a user friendly app where the customer can take the service and can buy their
prefer products from anywhere they like to. So, mobile application helps the customer to avail
the services from anywhere they like to.
3. Mobile application helps to allow advanced the marketing strategy.
For the mobile application, there can be many advanced functionality which allows the
retailer of the online shop to monitor user interaction more easily compared to desktop
websites (Halpern, Zhu and Reddi 2016). The mobile application of a company helps the
company to have detailed analytics on the service or the product that are provided by them.
There are many advantages that are mobile business offers to the customers. The owners of
the company can personalize the content of the business more precisely (Vithani and Kumar
2014). The mobile app implements advanced recommender system that increases the
conversion. The mobile websites provides effective recommendations which is one of the most
important functional benefits of the mobile application.

Recommendations and Conclusions
It is recommended for Scene Brokers that they should use the application only after
testing the application. As the company wants to build an online website and wants system
design for supporting the operation of Scene Brokers. The company wants to introduce many
new operation for targeting the individuals. Scene Brokers needs a business management
report that can identify the system design by controlling all its operations. For this an online
app and a website is designed for making the online system for the company.
It can be concluded that as the working process of Scene Brokers is to be online, so
there should be secured system in the process that will help to make the system an automated
one. The system that is designed for this company helps the user to sign in by paying the
required amount for registration. The system then allows the user to select the booking date
for the event to be organized, and after the approval of the admin and the agent, the customer
can book the venue for the even that is to be organized.
