Project Overview
The project deals with the implementation of a network by an organization who is
looking to develop their network set up across multiple locations. The project deals with
assessment of the company needs and setting up of a network for the company. The Network
Architecture for the project is to be set up which includes all the administrative requirements.
Client Overview
The client is a startup company and they are looking to set up a new network. Hence,
they require proper planning and a proper project management method for the development of
the network. They want a project proposal that would describe all the major requirements of the
project.
Scope
The project is completed within a minimum span of time and the cost of the project
should not exceed the limit of the company. Further scope for this project are:
 To make a positive impact on the business of the company
 The network design should also increase the efficiency in the performances of the
company.
 The growth capacity for the organization should also increase largely after the
implementation of the network
 The project should also compliance with the current prices and the market standards.
Project Assessment Report
Introduction
The company that is being considered here is a startup company and company wants =s
to set up a proper networking infrastructure across multiple locations. As the network
professional in +this scenario my task is to guide the client through the process of this layout of
the network architecture. The client is concerned with the network and the administrative
requirements and these are to be addressed for the client with the setup of the network.
Project Findings
The major project findings for this case de:
 There are multiple locations for the company.

 The company would also have several different units that would require a well-planned
integration.
 The company also needs a high level security for the network that is to be developed for
the business.
 In addition to all this it is to be kept in mind that the business procedures are well
integrated with the network architecture implemented for the organization.
Project recommendations
The possible solutions recommended for the organization are:
 Implementation of a cloud based network topology for the company that would help them
in the integration with their business across multiple location.
 Implementation of portal based architecture that would help the company in
communicating without any difficulty across the different units.
 In addition to this the network is to setup with a firewall set up for each of the location of
the company.
Project OHS Concerns
It has been found out that there are no present OHS concerns present current in the
project. But with the implementation of the network layout the some of the concerns can arise.
The staffs present in the company are not accustomed with the network and hence various type
of networking hazards can come up. In addition to this the company needs to follow the
standards maintained by the governing bodies and hence, failing to do so the company and their
employees might face various type of difficulties.
Project Analysis and Design
The Project analysis was done it is assumed that there would be single headquarter for the
organization that would handle all the operational procedures for the network. The administrative
work and authorities would be present in the headquarters of the company. In addition to this the
company would be having two additional offices that would be accommodating around 50
employees each, with the headquarters being able to accommodate around 100 employees. In
addition to this the offices would be having password protected wireless access to the network.

This would enable remote access to the network of the company and would allow the mobile
users to access the network.

Target Audience
The target audience for the project is client and the staffs of the project. The staffs and the
company itself have to be made well accustomed with the procedures in the network as they are
the ones who will work on the network in the company.

For the evaluation of the network both the software and the hardware aspects would be
considered. Different type of software testing such as the black box testing and the white box
testing would be done on the network soft wares. In addition to this, some additional hackers
would be hired for identifying the potential breaches top the network. Hence, both the hardware
and the software aspects of the network can be managed in this way.
