economy based country located at the southeast coast of Africa. The real GDP development has
reached a robust 4% in 2017, where the major drivers of development are services sector
especially the finance sector as well as trade and accommodation services. Arrivals of tourists
increased by 5.2% in 2017 reaching 1.34 million. On the other hand, the rate of inflation has
increased to 6.9% in 2018, which is more than 1.3% of the previous year (Domun and Talwar
2016). The external balances of Mauritius have continued to be supported through abundant
financial as well as capital inflows that consist of net inflows to the large offshore corporate
sector. The situation makes perfect for the international investors to invest in business from
Mauritius (Beebeejaun and Koobloll 2018). Hence, it is research issue to evaluate the
performance of a financial business organisation so that it would be helpful to invest in the
business of the organisation.
On the other hand, concrete economic policies, as well as prudent banking practices,
assisted in developing business-friendly services in Mauritius (Kaur, Ostwal, and Dhaiya 2014).
The trade and investment have reached across the world since it has increased exports of goods
and services like tourism. In addition, efficient as well as transparent regulatory supports the
process of developing broad-based economic growth and competitive tax rate (Bhatia and
Tiwatne 2018). The flexible labour code has abilities facilitating the development of the private
