INTRODUCTION
Sociological imagination refers to the ability to see context in different ways which helps in
decision making. This is useful because it helps in identifying various aspects of society
(Blommaert, 2018). The report examines, theories which helps in analysing real world issues.

It is important to solve real world issues so that people can get safe environment. The
sociological imagination is the book in which the relation between self and society is discussed
and it can be understood. Sociological imagination is the ability to see the context which shapes
individual decision making and decision which is made by others. It is used to shift perspective
from yourself and look at things more broadly. There are three dimensional of sociological
imagination i.e., identifying social forces which helps in shaping individual’s behaviour, learning
to identify the system generated behaviour. In the sociological imagination connection between
social environment of individuals and wider social and historical forces. In this book, the
approach challenges, opens new position for the individual. In this book, Mills wrote about
creation and maintenance of modern societies. In this conceptions of social reality i.e.., the
individual and the society is discussed (Norgaard, 2018).
There are many issues in the real world like, climate change, sustainability, changes in
creation and maintenance of modern societies, change in trends and difficulty is faced by people.
These issues were mentioned in magazine article and it should be solved. Sociological
imagination describes relation between self and society that can be understood. It is essential to
apply some changes in the environment so that people can get good environment. This was a
magazine article so that people can know about it. People should understand relation between
self and society. This helps in development of society and new trends can be applied. In the
modern societies, there is no discrimination among people on the basis of race, gender, caste,
religion or any other basis. It is essential to eliminate discrimination and equal opportunities
should be given to all.
Social theory refers to the framework which is used to study or identify social issues. In a
society, people of different culture and religion are living. Social theory is used to make
distinctions to analyse modernity. It refers to ideas, arguments, thought-experiments, explanatory
speculations related to why human societies or elements of societies are changed or develop.

Social theory is important because it gives us a way to speak about, describe behaviour of people
and interpret different behaviours. This theory helps in eliminating discrimination and develop
modern society. Sociological imagination is the ability to see things in different way and
decision can be taken accordingly (Garoutte, 2018).
Planned behaviour theory is a theory which predict an individual’s intention to engage in a
behaviour at a particular time and place. This theory explains about all behaviour over which
people have the ability to exert self-control. This theory is used to predict and understand
behaviour of people.
CONCLUSION
From the above discussion it can be concluded that, there are many real world issues which
should be solved so that people can get good environment. Sociological imaginations which is
related to creation of modern societies.
