Report
AI Summary
This report, prepared by a medical imaging technologist, explores the implementation and analysis of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) within a healthcare setting. It details the radiographer's role, including X-rays, CT scans, and other medical images, guided by radiologists. The report outlines a competency framework, including literature reviews on medical imaging technology, factors affecting implementation, and the introduction of changes in MRI through regular meetings. It covers data analysis, patient feedback, and the collection of qualitative data related to discharge rates. The report also touches upon teamwork, negotiation, and staff motivation, providing a comprehensive overview of the challenges and opportunities in medical imaging technology. The author provides a detailed program of competency achievement, outlining the steps taken to achieve the goals, including database searches, literature analysis, and the creation of service alteration proposals. The report also includes patient gratification questionnaires and radiographer experience questionnaires, along with the data collection sheets and analysis of the data collected. The report concludes with the learner's, work place mentor's, academic supervisor's, and line manager's signatures and an introduction to the context and relevance of the area with a bibliography.

Introduction
As a radiographer, I work as medical imaging technologist where I mainly deal with X-rays,
computed tomography scanning, magnetic resonance imaging as well as other medical images
that primarily assist different people in the clinical radiologist. Therefore, my field of
specialization constitutes trauma radiography, mobile radiography, computed tomography
scanning, fluoroscopy, and Angiography. In other words, the main work of the radiographer is to
deal with medical imaging under the guidance of radiologists.
Context and relevance of the area
Magnetic resonance imaging has diverse soft tissue as compared to radiological imaging
modalities as well as physiological. Due to increased demand and effectiveness of Magnetic
Resonance Imaging, it has boost scanning procedure, hence, help the majority of people.
Moreover, different literature shows various importance of magnetic resonance imaging.
According to the study carried out by (Hardy and Harvey, 2019) about the radiographer, indicate

that MRI is essential, especially in places where there difficulties in pregnancy and potential risk
during scanning.
In consideration of policies links, frameworks as well as drivers to developing Magnetic
resonance imaging, the primary purpose of the installation of this software is to take care of the
life of the majority of people across the world. Based on the fact that this software has an
advantage of saving life, better innovation, and more improvement have been subjected to MRI.
The plan and the acritical approach to MRI have been met by series execution of the project on
how it can help different people based on their problems. More importantly, due to an increase
and constants demand of the MRI, which resulted due to positive outcomes (Seibert, 2019).
Consequently, the device mostly being used by an expert; this may not apply to the people who
do not know how to use it. Therefore, non-compliant patients, for instance, children or the adult
may need sedation during an MRI analysis. An MRI program is, therefore, should emphasize the
specific risk and the importance of sedation.
