Recently in a conference the director of MIT had delivered a speech based on topic “ AI
and Future of Work”. Also a number of CEO's of various MNC's were present there who raised a
number of issues which are that employees in a firm are getting fired or loosing their jobs after
the arrival of new and advanced technology. Nowadays working has become more quick and
mechanised. Another issue faced by employers are that they are unable to find skilled and trained
professionals who can help them in achieving their goals and objectives. For these issues director
suggested that children who are in school should attend technical training camps and sessions
from a quite early stage. This will further help in enhancing their knowledge and area of
expertise. An entire paragraph has been explaining regarding difficulties that are part of human
beings at their job place. Many claims have been made by professionals in this issue that by the
next 50 years or so trend will become more mechanised. An example of such a case is that robots
have taken place of doctors and other service providers in foreign developed countries. Hence
after reading this concept and articles members of PWC conducted a research on the same and
examined that AI can have both positive as well as negative impacts in context of jobs. Various
sectors that may face an issue due to Artificial intelligence such as healthcare, scientists, retail
sector etc. Some sectors which are not expected to be affected much are educational, technical
sector etc.
