INTRODUCTION
This project is all about assessment in respect to the impacts COVID 19 pandemic has
created over the airline industry. A critical evew would be entertained to assess the impacts of
the pandemic over the entire industry of airlines.
MAIN BODY
COVID 19 impacts over airline industry
COVID 19 pandemic could hamper the business environment at the global level. This
pandemic could somehow create a crisis at a global level especially in order to conduct the
business operations. In case of airline sector the industry immensely influenced with the
travelling plans of the people at a global level. The pandemic could significantly affect over
the travel journeys of the people from all across the globe. The industry could completely
demolish due to the effect of the COVID 19 pandemic (Shafi, Liu and Ren, 2020).
Organisations like world health organisation prescribed the guidelines in which it has clearly
stated that people must not travel in the pandemic form one place to another only if its
mandatory to travel from one place to other.
The pandemic could somehow completely hamper the international airline sector as
the people are preferring to travel in the national level from airlines but majority of the
customers could completely cancel the international plans of the people to travel various
destinations. Even the booked tickets are cancelled due to the pandemic. Along with the
hospitality sector airlines is the prominent industry that could directly hampered due to the
pandemic. In all the airlines average number of passenger travel form airplane could
completely come to the minimum number and lower (Wójcik and Ioannou, 2020). The
impact of the COVID 19 pandemic is such drastic that may airlines company has made its
employee resign from the work place. Many employees become jobless due to the lockdown
situation ad also after the lock down could shut down companies are not able to generate
revenues due to the unavailability of the international tourist. All these aspect denote that
COVID 19 crisis could drastically affect the entire airline sector at a global level. Companies
are facing challenges in order to generate profitability and meet all different objectives
behind the business operations. Unemployment in the airline sector could also increase out of
the pandemic impacts. Growth rate of all the dominating companies associated with the
airline sector are in a negative rate. All these impacts are directly associated with the COVID

19 pandemic over the airline industry. It wil take time to get the situation in the normal
manner.
CONCLUSION
COVID 19 pandemic could completely hamper the overall growth of the airline
sector. It could lead to the sector to serve the unemployment, inflation, negative growth rate
and other such issues. Company are facing tough challenges in generating effective revenue
for the business operations of such respective companies. Unemployment has become one of
the major issues which industry is facing due to the COVID 19 crisis.
