AI Summary
This report examines the impact of diabetes on children, focusing on various factors contributing to the condition. The introduction defines diabetes and its effects, emphasizing the importance of understanding its causes in children. The main body discusses insulin resistance, the role of proper food intake, the impact of smoking and alcohol (requiring parental supervision), and the influence of family history. Insulin resistance, often linked to obesity, is explored, alongside the significance of a balanced diet to mitigate diabetes risk. The report also highlights the dangers of alcohol and smoking, emphasizing the need for parental supervision. The report concludes by summarizing key findings, including the financial challenges impacting children's access to nutritious food and the increased risk associated with a family history of diabetes. It underscores the necessity of awareness and preventive measures to address diabetes in children.

INTRODUCTION
Diabetes refers to a chronic disease which occurs when there is not enough insulin
production by pancreas or body is not able to use enough insulin effectively. Insulin hormone are
able to regulate blood sugar in body and thus due to this there is chance of getting Diabetes. Low
blood sugar is able to affect mood and creates difficulty in thinking which can create poor
coordination, feel dizzy, or headache etc. According to DSM-5 mental disorder refers to a
syndrome which is characterized by clinically disturbance in emotion regulation or behaviour
which is able to effect dysfunction in developmental processes. This topic is to aim on to provide
and understand about the factors and causes which are there causing diabetes in children. This
gives the understanding about situation which should be there have the greater chances or how to
avoid the chances of diabetes which is there in children. Literature review is there which is able
to provide the information of different person which have better knowledge of this condition and
through literature review there can better understanding of their statement. There are different
study are currently in process which can have better result in future. Through study of literature
review there is chance of getting better knowledge about that which can have better effect along
with result in creating awareness about impact of diabetes to the children (Kaminski and Moran,
2019).
MAIN BODY
There are different impact of diabetes on children which is there can effect on their life
which includes some of the reason like Insulin resistance in children, not having proper intake of
food which can avoid risk of diabetes, family history of diabetes, high use of smoking and
alcohol causing risk of diabetes etc. which are going to be discussed further.
Insulin-resistance in children
According to Gloria Verret, (2019), Insulin resistance refers to pathological condition
which is strongly associated with obesity. In this growth hormone therapy may affect sensitivity

insulin resistance which is there in children body and cause the diabetes. There is present of
different effect of IR which is there in adulthood which is there found in preterm children which
causes resistance. This does not have any type of symptoms, in this, there is development of
patches which is thick in nature which is there back of neck or armpits. There are different effect
which can have the symptoms like extreme thrust or hunger, increased urination, feeling more
tired, frequent infection, evidence in blood work, tingling sensation is hands or there in feet can
be observed (Khandelwal, 2018).
Proper intake of food which can increase or decrease chances of diabetes
According to Hannah Nichols, (2018), in this, aim of study is to get the understanding
about different food intake and not having proper meal as nutrient. There are about 13 to 18
years of children who are not having proper meal due to financial problem and not having
knowledge of better meal also not having supervisors who can help them to get study. Study was
conducted on big cities of UK where there ware main aim were the financially poor children.
Due to not having proper meal there is high chances of getting type 2 diabetes which is there
process due to lack of glucose in body. In this sugar builds rather than fuelling cells, it build-up
in bloodstream. Having less nutrients food which creates the cause of diabetes. There is finding
that there are mostly financially weak children and families who are not able to provide better
food which is there need to have intake as the meal. There are different food which are there
have the ability in relation to resist the chances of diabetes. Along with this, there are many of
the foods which are there can have high chances of risk of diabetes which are there can increase
the risk of diabetes in children (Hansen and et. al., 2017). Financially weak are not having
proper nutrient food which causing diabetes problem. To stop these there is need to provide
better resources to them who are suffering from finance in family and should uptake of nutrient
food which can't cause chances of diabetes. There is need to avoid food which is there can
increase the risk of diabetes such like highly processed carbohydrate, sugar sweetened drinks,
saturated fats, red and processed meat etc. There are some meal which can help in reducing the
risk of diabetes like
Smoking and alcohol causing Diabetes in children which needs supervision
According to Katherine Zeratsky, (2016), supervision play a big role in getting impact of
diabetes on person which is there due to having different abuse like alcohol, smoking or tobacco
abuse. Aim of this study is to learn that there are higher chance of getting diabetes who like to

have more smoking and alcohol consumption which is there due to having not any supervision of
family or any guardian. There is high role of getting alcohol in which how it may impact on
children and play a role in getting diabetes due to lack of supervision. Parents play a role in
supervision of their children in relation to take them on right track and to make them understand
what is good or bad for them. There are lack of supervision creates or influence child to get on
the track of alcohol consumption (Nazar and Marwat, 2016). This should be supervised by their
parents or any supervisor which are there for them. There is due to lack of supervision which
child parent should care for them by providing supervision which is there can help them to stay
away from getting diabetes. Highly use of alcohol in which there is need of supervision that can
help them out in getting better life option. There is need to provide them the knowledge which is
regarding different channels which can help to get better impact to children. There is need to
provide knowledge and make them understand about the consequences which are there due to
high consumption of alcohol or smoking which can cause diabetes in them (Tobias and et. al.,
2016.
History of diabetes in family
According to Rola Saad, (2020), a study was conducted which was aimed to understand
the cause of diabetes in children which is due to having different cause either due to having any
family history in their relation or their grand parent or parents. Cohort group were the children
aged between 13 to 18 who are generally prone to alcohol abuse. This study was conducted on
different families who are middle class in different town of UK (Spurr, 2020). There was the
finding that there are different families who are there suffering form diabetes and there due to
having diabetes in parent and family there is higher chance of getting diabetes to their children
which are there due to having family history of diabetes. In family when there is anybody like
sibling, father, mother, grandfather, grandmother any of them have any complain about the
diabetes then there is high chances of getting diabetes to their children which should increase the
risk of diabetes. There is higher chance of getting pre-diabetes which can further cause the
chance of diabetes. In this, there is more likely to get type 2 diabetes. People with pre-diabetes
having higher blood sugar which more than normal but not much higher that there is need for
diagnosed with diabetes. There is higher chance that people who are having diabetes due to
having family history there is less chance of getting information about that without any test

CONCLUSION
From above study, there is finding that due to having different cause which are there can
cause the chances of having diabetes. There are different factors which can create the risk of
diabetes. Specially due to financial problem. There is also finding that there are different cause
of getting diabetic which is due to having insulin resistance in body which is explained there and
there is need to have proper meal which is in relation to avoid the risk of diabetes and there is
need not to take some food such like carbohydrate rich food which is able to increase the chance
of diabetes. It can be concluded that there are different children and different cause for getting
diabetes which is there by the impact of different reason. There is high need to create the
awareness which is due to getting not better food as a meal. There is high risk of getting diabetes
which is due to diabetes history of family and there is need to highly careful which is there can
have the higher chances of getting diabetes in their family and to their children.
