INTRODUCTION
The market has adopting the digital technologies for innovation and advancement in the
system and operation of business in more effective manner. Digitalization defines the conversion
and transformation data and methods in order to gain appropriate position in the company. an
organization us digitalization and its techniques for advanced system and fast process. It provides
accurate communication and interaction through which firm can communicate their stakeholders
in more effective and different operations (Bakker and et. al., 2011). The report is based on
ALDI which is international company and it mainly deal with various goods and services in
better manner. The main purpose of this assignment is to evaluate the results after innovation of
digital technology and how this will transform the issues and barriers of business into strength.
Explain project aims and objectives
In every organization, it is required to determine the aim and objectives in order to
implement and execute advanced technology in the business concern that are enhancing the
growth and development procedure of firm. It is required to innovate the technologies and
introduce certain cloud technology in the company in developing business operations and
functions. Cloud computing can protect and prevent software privacy for long time period. The
use of cloud technology includes data storage, offer remote areas to work related with data and
information (Bakker and et. al., 2011).
The main role of cloud is to computing on corporate level that can be use to operate and
regulate business operation in better manner. It is using the internet to deliver the hardware and
software services instead of holding physical systems in the business. This can store and share
the entire customer related within company data storage in effective manner.
Background of project
An organization required to adopt various changes and alterations which occur within time for
sustaining the competitive business and industry. Cloud technology assist an organization for
developing and maintaining their data related with customers as well as their employees in

proper manner. ALDI company is also used this cloud technology for maintaining their clients
personal information in better way (Crane and Matten, 2016).
Aim: “To determine the importance of cloud technology for storing and operating organization
information”. A study on ALDI.
Objectives:
 To determine the concept of cloud technology.
 To analyze the main issues and challenges occurs while adopting cloud technology
within ALDI.
 To ascertain the importance of cloud technology in order to store and operate business.

Making project management plan
It is necessary for every company to design plan for managing their project in proper manner.
Aim of developing project management plan is to do work without and hazardous or hurdles. The
management plan of a particular project benefits in identifying scope, time, quality, risk, scope and
communication resources of the project which is important to be executed (Crane and Matten, 2016).
This entire frame work assist in saving time, cost as well as unwanted barrier in implementation of
strategy. Along with this, help in coping up with the completed situation while development of the study.
There are several factors which must be include or undertook for determining functioning of the
operations. Explanations of these are as follows:-
 Scope – It is one of the important factor of project planning which should be consider by ALDI
for identifying future scope of their project. Scope is necessary tp identify so that impact of
digital distribution in competitive business environment can be succeed or develop. Apart from
this, it will assist organisation in identifying proper method as well as approaches which avail
ALDI in developing.

 Cost – Fund is the backbone of every project which require proper frame work as well as it is
important to maintain cost as per the requirement. For determining cost there are several process
which must be consider such as data analysis, Gantt chart, questionnaire development as well as
IT (information technology) system for which there is requirement of expertise assistance. ALDI
have to manage cost in proper manner and divide funds as per the requirement of several
departments of the project (Eweje, Turner and Müller, 2012). Enterprise requires managing a
budget and allocating the entire cost in different parts of the project for minimizing expenses of
respective company. This respected project has been determined to complete in 25000 Euros.
 Risk: Business environment is full of hazards, when it’s come to a project of organisation their
are several types of hazard as well as risk come along with it. All these risk become obstruct in
the day to day activity of project succession which ADLI require to manage for meeting their
better outcome. At the time, it is risky for enterprises to digitalise some procedure because there
are several people and consumer who like doing things in traditional manner more than new style.
Moreover, new technologies carrying out are expensive as well as risky with time to the company
as it obstructs overall process.
 Time: time is the most essential assets which reward an enterprise in achieving its success as well
as also become reason for failure also. Thus, it is important for ALDI to manage things and
complete them within required time period. The organization have to set time to compete this
project in between 30 days in order to stay determinate and more modified association among
entire competitors (Fisher, 2011).
 Communication: It is important for ALDI to have Effective communication from top to bottom
and bottom to top because with the help of proper transfer of information it become easy to share
important data. This is necessary for doing work in effective manner as well as it depend on the
mode that one is utilizing for transmission of their message. While working on particular project
it is important that manager of ALDI have to communicate every information related to the
respective project.

Small scale research
In order to conduct the research in an effective manner it is necessary that researcher use
appropriate methodologies so that findings can be appropriate and based on facts. Thus, basic
methodologies which can be used by investigator are mentioned below:
Qualitative Research: This method is very helpful in evaluating behaviour and attitudes of
an individual. Qualitative method of research is used in order to have in-depth knowledge related
to a specific topic. Thus, it can be said that this method is exploratory kind of approach that assist
investigator for analyzing facts and views. Several methods that can be used in this processes are
observation, interview etc., thus, it depends upon the researcher which method investigator wants
to choose (Bakker and et. al., 2011).
Quantitative Method: This method is often used when researcher wants to get information in
the form of numerical data although it helps in analysing things effectively but it is mostly
preferable when there are large number of respondents. It is somewhat different from qualitative
method because it is more quantitative in nature and more logical as well. Some of the
respondents avoid this method because it is moreover time consuming and requires a lot of
efforts in order to get satisfied results.
Primary data: This is one of the most common method for collecting data and information as
in this researcher conducts research for the first time and gathered information are authentic and
have not been used by any other person. In this majorly questionnaire is given preferences and in
spite of its time and consuming approach most of the researcher uses the same in order to get
effective information so that effective conclusion can be evaluated. Therefore, if an investigator
wants to get straight forward results than they use this approaches for evaluating effective
results.
Secondary Research: In this previous studies are considered so that new outcomes can be
evaluated. Thus, investigator gathers information from published resources such as books,
journals, articles, newspapers etc. Secondary research method is one of the effective methods
which is used by researcher because of its less time and cost consuming factor. Other than this,
information can be evaluated easily with the help of this method (Bakker and et. al., 2011).
Therefore, for conducting this researcher, researcher has used qualitative method and for
this 6 questions where formulated and all these questions were open ended along with

appropriate options. Thus, respondents can choose option which is more suitable for them.
Henceforth, for accomplishing this research 30 number of respondents were taken which was
appropriate.

Interpretation: Cloud technology is one of the methods through which sharing
information and data is easier. Thus, it is a web based tool which is operated via internet or
servers. Therefore, from the above mentioned graph it ca be evaluated that 22 number of
respondents out of 30 are saying “Yes”, which means according to them they are aware about the
concept of cloud technology that through this process sharing and storing information is easy and
it doesn’t require a particular places. Whereas on the other hand 8 number of respondents have
chosen the option “No”, which means they are not aware of the concept of cloud technology.

Interpretation: Cloud technology is an effective approach for storing data and
information in large number. Thus, this is the reason why most of the companies have switched
to this concept and according to the pie chart mentioned above it can be evaluated that as per the
25 respondents out of 30 they believe that by using ALDI Company is benefited with sharing
information hence, various departments within the organisation can access data as per their work.
Whereas other 5 respondents thinks that storing valuable information of customers has become
more easier and it is enabling company in knowing their choices and preferences and ultimately
firm is better outcomes in return.

are agreeing with the fact and thinks that through cloud technology company can get higher
income and profitability. On the other hand, 7 of them are disagreeing as they believes that
providing better products and services is more valuable rather that storing information or other
activities.

Interpretation: The biggest benefit of cloud technology is that with the help of this
company can effectively store and share information using a simple internet connection or server
developed by the company itself. Therefore, from the above mentioned graph it can be evaluated
that according to the 18 respondents out of 30 as they have gone with the option “yes”, which
means they are agreeing with the fact that cloud technology is very effective in doing activities
like storing and sharing information. Whereas other 12 respondents believe that storing data and
sharing information cannot be done with cloud technology as data can be accessed which can
further become a security concern.

Interpretation: Every technology, if it is having some pros than there is a possibility that
it will have some issues as well which can puts an impact on the business activities of a
company. Therefore, with the help of above mentioned pie chart it can be concluded that as per
15 respondents out of 30 as they have chosen the first option which means that data privacy is
one of the biggest concern or challenge because it can leak valuable data and information of
customers. On the other hand as per 15 respondents they believe that password protection is the
major problem which can be faced by company as for this, firm had to make lot of changes in
their security system which can moreover increase their expenditure cost.

It can be recommended that digital technologies does not carried out convenience with it
but this will create major issues and problems in better manner. It is mainly concern with
company that how to manage and maintain their business operations effectively. Along with this,
company can use cloud technology which help them in gaining higher income or revenue in

proper way. They need to store and share all information and data for making position in the
market place. It can be concluded that it is required to determine the aim and objectives in order
to implement and execute advanced technology in the business concern that are enhancing the
growth and development procedure of firm. Cloud technology assist an organization for
developing and maintaining their data related with customers as well as their employees in
proper manner.
CONCLUSION
From the above report, it has been evaluated that cloud technology according to the
recent market is providing benefits to the organisation as it has made the process of storing
information and sharing data easier. Other than this, it has reduced the time that use to be
consumed while getting appropriate information of customer or company itself. Therefore, with
the help of this research effectiveness of cloud technology has been analysed.
