Brief Literature Review
______According to the Zhang and Nadarajah (2018), digital disruption within the banking
sector is driven by certain factors both on the supply side, mainly technological development
as well as on the demand side. As per the opinion of Hodson (2021), there are different
disruptive digital technologies that are used by banking sector. These are artificial
intelligence (AI), robotics, and blockchain etc. According to the Klarin-Petrina, (2021),
digitalisation is important for banking sector of United Kingdom by improving their business
performance and growth.
