Digital media impacts is the website that was created to assist the demonstration of the
findings and the results that was inferred from my research. The major findings of my research
include the impacts of the various interfaces of the digital media on the culture, the economy and
the society at large. The most important factor that is discussed is the impact of the digital media
interfaces on the future of the human race. The homepage of the website is divided into three
major sections. The first section of the website is the header section that displays the logo as well
as the horizontal menu for navigation. The second section is the main portion of the website.
This section presents the slideshow that might help the concerned user to understand the main
subject that is being presented within the website. This part is also made easy for navigation by
incorporating a slider in the section for the easy navigation. This section also contains a link that
says “Get in touch today”. This link leads the users to the contact page. The slider is followed by
another section that presents my research. This section bears proper links to the various pages
and can be navigated due to the presence of the various links. The third and the last section is the
footer section that consists of three different categories. The section contains various icons of the
social media along with the some opinions of the participants of the survey. The section also
incorporates a video that displays some parts of the surveys that were undertaken for the
researches.
<Doctype html> helps in the recognition as a HTML 5 document. <html
lang="en">states that the language type of the page is set to English. The image slider present on
the main page is created through animation by javascript. The javascript file was created as an
external file and then the link was nested in the HTML. The wrapper tag was formed after
creating the body section. This has helped me to nest the complete page within the singular

CSS during the project has given me the opportunity to apply the style rules to HTML elements
and build pages in a well-structured, friendlier and more accessible way. During the creation of
the horizontal navigation bar, I had to take few points into considerations such as block level
elements and how they get to stack up vertically. In order to create horizontal navigation bar I
had to use “display:inline-block;” element which helped me to form the list items in a horizontal
manner.
“Float” property along with “clear: both;” property have been utilized to enable the
moving of elements from their default position to their left or right side of its nearest position
and by doing that inline elements are observed to be wrapped around the floated elements. In the
header section, for instance, I had to use the float left element for positioning the logo and float
right element to fit the navigation bar to align both elements next to each other.

Every image in the website uses the “img src” attribute in order to establish a linkage
among the source and the image. The images also use “alt=” attribute in order to describe the
image to those who face difficulties in processing the image. The CSS is majorly measured in
terms of percentages and units in order to promote the accessibility of the text as well as create a
dynamic spacing around the text.
All of the pages created have been checked though a validator, in order to correct errors
and help the web pages to be recognized by the browser. Accessibility check has also been run
and has indicated no errors. This also helped to ensure that all of the pages are usable and
accessible for those who suffer from a wide range of disabilities.
