Introduction
Our life has almost become unimaginable without modern digital technology and
devices that use such technology such as tablets, smart phones, computers, laptops, etc. The
technology has become one of the major needs in the daily life of human beings. It is true that
life in the current status could not be thought of without the use of different tools and
techniques of technology. The technology has been outperforming in a short while. There
have been so many changes in the technological which have made it indispensible to the life
of the human beings. It has been initiated with a purpose. The development in the domain of
technology has taken place to satisfy the demands of millions to have a life better and easy.
The main theme of discussion is the analysis of the digital technology. The technological
evolution has enhanced the quality of life and there is ample scope of expansion of the
technology in the near future.
Discussion
Internet has been a new commodity in the market during the time of 1990s. There had
been very little access to the internet. Majority of the households and the officials use to
access the internet for different purposes. The internet has been discovered to be one of the
most valuable resources of daily life. The evolution in the field of technology has been made
so developed that now people could use internet quite conveniently and easily (Gleeson).
Search engines in the internet have been found to be of great help where people could get
many informative resources. The websites have advanced with the internet. In the initial stage
the website has been used for the purposes of different functions and designs. Then the craze
for blogging came into the scene (ibm). There blogs which are very common these days were
known as weblogs. Then the task of sharing information became popular with the use of
floppy discs. The people had to carry external floppy discs or CD ROM for carrying and

sharing information (DiscoverTec). Then the features of electronic mails or e-mails initiated.
The emails could be sent and received at much easier and timeless effort. The documents and
information could be easily shared and stored in USB sticks or the popular flash drives. The
technology has brought in many changes in the life of the people (Spacey). Now, the business
organizations and even educational aspects could not be thought of without technology.
People when started using normal mobile devices it was an exciting even for everyone who
could afford to use them. The people are now using smart phones, tablets, laptops and many
other portable devices with the help of technology. The changes in the technology have
revolutionized the way the people work and operate and live as a whole (Accenture).
Communication is one of the most important aspects in life of people. The
communication has become seamless and convenient with the resources provided by the
technology (Tintup). The instant messaging systems have changed the way people
communicate with the others even from any distant corner of the world (Della and Giustina).
The internet is available and accessible from everywhere. The Wi-Fi technology has become
an easy going resource of technology which could be used by many at a time and could be
accessed in every location where there is provision for this technology (Gleeson). The
connection among the people all over the world has become so popular that the people
residing in one corner of the world could communicate with the people of another extreme
corner without any hassle and also at a much cheaper rate. The Bluetooth connection had
once revolutionized the population till the sharing became more easy and effortless with the
help of smart technology of the modern world (Berisha-Shaqiri). The smart technology has
given rise to the social media platform. The social media has provided the people with ample
resources for entertainment, communication, daily needs, official purposes and marketing
aspects. In the modern world the use of social media is a common aspect not only for the
purpose of communication but also for different marketing and business needs (Jalal-Karim

and Hamdan). The technology has narrowed the distance between the people of different
parts of the world (Andriole).
The social media technology has made the face-to-face communication resurfacing
with the support of video calling through Skype, What Sapp, Facebook and Hangout. These
are the virtual places where real communication takes place and that also seamlessly. It is the
era of live streaming and communicating with the others with the support of Facebook Live
or Instagram Live. The entertainment has got a new shape with the help of technology. The
youth generation and the adults now do not watch television much as they could get to see as
many programs or movies or sports by using the technology. The era of video streaming has
become so popular with the use of YouTube, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Google TV, Apple TV
etc. In the field of business operations the use of the modern technologies is unparallel
(Hanaysha). The use of video conferencing, instant messaging, cloud computing and even
Artificial Intelligence has made the business operations go much effective and seamless
(Gagnon and Dragon). The cost effectiveness aspects are also associated with the use of the
modern technologies. The cloud based services like iCloud or Google Drive or Dropbox
have enabled the modern business world to be the operating with huge pool of data and
information which they could not have managed with their traditional systems. In banking
functions also use of Digital technology has revolutionized the service delivery (Jalal-Karim
and Hamdan). Digital technology has also changed the world of healthcare where the
innovative tools and resources have changed the ways of healthcare service delivery
positively (Kalem and Turhan).
Conclusion
The technology has been made for the convenience of the human beings. There have
been cases where it could be seen that digital technology is getting used for anti-social

activities and for hacking important and confidential information. It could not be denied that
like every aspect digital technology also has some limitations but the advantages which it
provides to the entire population could never be overlooked. People could now access
information and could share them with the support of digital technology. Everywhere it could
be seen that digitalization has made the life of the people simple and resourceful and it has
ample chance and scope of future development.
