and the impact of NHS policy on diversity and inclusion. The diversity manages the overall

are used to collect data based on the topic are also important in this overall project. The
secondary method will be briefly used in this research project to collect and analyse the data.

Diversity Management
As per the Mor Barak, (2015), the term diversity management in NHS means to promote the
employees by taking necessary actions and steps by the organisation. The diversity management
is required for the employees as they are the one to give the higher quality of care to the patients
and to achieve that the company or the organisation have to take care of the employees first.
DIVERSITY IN NHS means to take care of the needs and desires and wants of the employees
and the workers at a workplace, by knowing about the differences and recognising the values
through inclusion regardless of the caste, colour, gender, age limit etc (Ashikali and Groeneveld,
2015).To promote personal, fair health system NHS has established a council named as Equality
and Diversity to bring people and organisation together.
The corporate structure of different companies may differ from other organisations. Diversity in
a workplace is an important part as it helps the company to fulfil the needs and desires of the
customers by coping up with other companies of similar backgrounds. Diversity Management
helps the company or an organisation to create a safe and positive environment for the workers at
the workplace where the most important thing kept in mind while working is to take care of the
individual differences and their similarities (Rice, 2015). This all is done to achieve the targets,
goals and aims of the particular organisation. Diversity management has many advantages like it
develops creativity and different innovative and new ideas among the workers. It gives the
knowledge of the local market that helps in making the business successful and profitable. It also
means higher quality.

organization and it can be attained by the NHS after managing the diversity in the organization.

desired goal of the business. It has been analysed that diversity management is responsible to
maintain the high-performance in the business activities and functions. By managing the

inclusion includes to develop the capacity of managing diversity and inclusion by arising the
national partner's programme., work properly with the regional equality networks, it implements
the NHS workforce disability equality standard, it improves the gender equality and provide
equality for the staff and patients (King, et al., 2012). The NHS adopts several polices to manage
the diversity in the workforce and improves the proper care to the patients. The different policy

previously existing research (Taylor, et al., 2015). Sometimes, secondary research uses the
primary research sources of data for analytics. Secondary data includes the quality data that gives
relevant information based on the topic. The secondary research includes the qualitative
information that only includes the non-numerical data. The information of secondary research
taken by the government departments, organizational records and many more other processes.
The gathering of information is essential for the process of methodology and it can be gathered
by the previous studies. Secondary research is mainly used to check that primary research is
correct or not. The existing data are summarized in this process which also increases the
effectiveness in the research (Thomas, et al., 2015). The secondary research includes both
qualitative and quantitative data. As it has been analyzed that qualitative data achieved by the
newspapers, magazines and interviews while the quantitative data obtained by the surveys and
financial statements.
