1. INTRODUCTION AND BACKGROUND OF RESEARCH
Workplace diversity is considered as an crucial technique in regard to carry out the
business functions. However, within modern competitive business environment, it is significant
for firms to undertake effective diversity programs so that morale of employees could be
enhanced (Banks, 2015). Thus, it helps in sustaining them for long term. Cultural diversity
within organization helps in supporting employees so that their satisfaction level could be
enhanced. Hence, it is essential for firm to undertake different elements such as age, culture,
religion and social status. However, human resource department focuses upon recruiting
different individuals within business and thus creates multicultural and multiracial dynamic
environment so that business could improve its performance. Through employing different
cultural background people within workplace it results in creating multicultural environment and
thus develops positive working atmosphere in organization. However, sometimes individual
faces difficulties regarding communication barrier as they possess differences in languages and
thus impact the operations of firm in global market (Trax, Brunow and Suedekum, 2015).
The current study is based upon Tesco and thus carries out the research to identify the
importance of the cultural diversity so that different cultural background people works with each
other in order to develop equal opportunities within workplace. However, company employs
thousands of workers with different cultural backgrounds and thus creates efficiency among
workers to develop relationship among each other and attain desired results (Suedekum, Wolf
and Blien, 2014).

4. PROPOSED RESEARCH METHODS
In order to conduct the research, it is essential for scholar to adopt appropriate data
collection tools so that identified research questions could be addressed in an effective way.
There are different methods involved in data collection i.e. primary and secondary sources. In
regard to conduct primary research, questionnaire method is being used and thus obtain effective
responses from target market (Wood and Wilberger, 2015). While, secondary data collection
method involves the already published articles, journals, books and government reports. Thus,
both these sources are considered as effective and thus carries out effective methods that results
in attaining desired results. Here, qualitative research method is being adopted which results in
addressing the research questions so that impact of cultural diversity in workplace. Using
qualitative method helps in carrying out thematic analysis and develop themes so that research
questions could be addressed appropriately. Thus, thematic analysis is being carried out in order
to identify the responses from respondents regarding cultural diversity in workplace. Data will
be collected through using questionnaire method and thus results in obtaining significant
responses so that appropriate results could be attained (Smith, 2015).
Thus, adopting primary and secondary data sources results in conducting the research
method and identify the impact of cultural diversity within firm. There are two types of research
methods i.e. qualitative and quantitative for conducting the study. Thus, in regard to conduct the
research, qualitative method has been used that helps in identifying the responses of persons
regarding the culture, belief and ethnicity (Cohen, Manion and Morrison, 2013). Thus,
implementing qualitative data, researcher uses thematic analysis and thus results in preparing
different themes in regard to develop appropriate information so that desired results could be
attained.
Furthermore, data collection methods are considered of two types and thus it helps in
collecting responses from selected respondents. It involves primary and secondary sources for
collecting data and thus conduct the study in an effective way. In regard to conduct primary
research, scholar collects the data through using questionnaire and thus collect responses
regarding the impact of cultural diversity in workplace (Bowling, 2014). While, collecting
secondary data results in undertaking different sources through which data could be collected
such as government reports, books, journals, articles etc. However, using both these methods are
considered as effective that helps in collecting responses so that desired results could be attained.

5. PROJECT PLAN, BUDGET AND TIMELINE
In order to accomplish the current research it helps in identifying the project plan and
thus assesses that developing proper budget in regard to identify the timeline in which it needs to
be completed. Hence, it is significant for organization to undertake effective project plan and
develops budget so that research could be accomplished effectively.

6. ISSUES TO BE CONSIDERED
There are different issues that has been faced by researcher related to ethics and thus they
encounter the same during the research process. Therefore, it is essential for scholar to identify
effective methods through carrying out research process and thus assesses that there are issues
related to accessibility to the data, time and resources that are required to be completed for
research (Thomas, Silverman and Nelson, 2015). However, researcher also faces issues related
to budget and time constraint and thus obtain validity of data and potential ethical issues so that
appropriate results could be attained. However, all such issues need to be identified so that best
results could be attained. Further, identifying the accessibility issue means that researcher is not
able to access to the websites for collecting information and thus it is essential for them to obtain
prior permission so that data validity and reliability could be obtained. Also, identifying the
potential ethical issues that results in identifying the need for assessing the issues and overcome
the same so that best results could be attained (Fowler Jr, 2013).
Moreover, budget and time constraint are another issues to be considered for researcher
at the time of conducting the research. Hence, it is crucial for researcher to identify the ethical
issues required to be understood in relation to adopt effective practices and thus overcome the
time and budget constraint. Researcher is also required to undertake effective analysis regarding
validity of data and assess potential ethical issues so that collected information need to be
accurate and reliable so that best information could be collected (Smith, 2015). Hence, it is
essential for them to identify all the issues faced while conducting the study and assess the
potential impact of conducting the research.

7. POTENTIAL USE OF THE RESEARCH FINDINGS
Through identifying the responses collected through the research it helps in evaluating
the responses and thus assesses that findings of the study. Hence, it is crucial for researcher to
identify the benefits obtained through the research so that other users could get benefited. Also,
it is essential for them to analyse the responses collected from respondents. Moreover,
identifying the impact of cultural diversity helps in assessing the outcomes of the research
(Cohen, Manion and Morrison, 2013). However, the research will also help potential users in
academic and business managers to assess the crucial impact of cultural diversity within
workplace helps in identifying the best results. Also, the research will prove to be useful for
target organization in regard to undertake effective responses and thus help them to carry out the
study so that appropriate results could be adopted. Hence, it is significant for researcher to
identify the research findings and thus use the collected data in terms of enhancing the study in
different fields (Bowling, 2014).
Moreover, potential use of research findings helps in identifying the outcomes of the
study. Therefore, it is essential for researcher to assess the benefit of target organization through
conducting the research such as assessing the cultural diversity and its impact upon business.
Therefore, it helps in identifying the impact of potential use of research findings so that users of
the research in future could be benefited. It also results in evaluating the success of the
conducted research as it helps in providing benefit to several users such as businesses and
individual academicians (Thomas, Silverman and Nelson, 2015).
8. CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATIONS
It can be concluded from the study that assessing the impact of cultural diversity within
workplace it helps in improving the relationship within employees. Through improving the
cultural diversity it results in improving business performance and attain desired results.
