Literature Review
As per the views stated by the Ahmed, Opoku and Aziz, (2016) e-commerce is a new
age business model associated with the business environment which allows the customers to
place all their needs and requirements by staying at home. This is a flexible business
technique which delivers 24 hours services. At any time in he day customer can buy, replace,
pay and take benefits of all other services just by one click. E-commerce could reduce the
overall time consumption of the customers in conducting its shopping. This business model is
more effective as it allow customers to get effective discounts and much fruitful deals as
compare to traditional shopping methodologies. Many intellectual have projected that e-
commerce could somehow create a volatile environment for the entire business environment.
Even new business ventures are able to meet its profits. Amazon was a big brand and a well
established organisation at the global level. The entrains of the Amazon Company in e-

commerce business make it easier for the organisation as it already contained strong brand
image, goodwill, resources and all kinds of luxury that needed to succeed a business.
As per the views given by Grenier and Collins, (2016) it has criticised the e-
commerce business model. Author has projected in its studios that this model could causes to
plenty of frauds with the customers in form of wrong delivery of placed order, extra charges
for no reasons, money fraud in face of hacking and other such issues. All these challenges
make the business model a bit more risky in comparison with the traditional business
technique. This business model became a huge challenge for all the companies and for the
entire business environment. Increasing number of frauds in the sector, issues customers are
facing and many such challenges are making the entire sector a hustle. Its essential to
implement immediate solutions to deal with all different issues and challenges the sector is
addressing to expand the growth at all different level.
E-commerce is the modern technique of doing business operations. Ragab and Arisha,
(2018) has reflected various challenges the e-commerce business model serve in its normal
business operations. Challenges like this model created challenges like fraud resistance,
hacking challenge, data leakage related to the personal information of the customers and
many such associated challenges. In order to improve the scale of e-commerce business
model its essential to resist all these challenges to attract more customers over this business
model. If the business environment could effective deal with all these challenges related to e-
commerce it would support them in achieving the massive heights in form of growth and
development as compare to the traditional business methodologies.
As illustrated by the Kammersgaard, (2018) in its studios that apart from different
challenges e-commerce business model cater to the organisation and customers it also deliver
plenty of advantages that also became the merit and key reason behind the attention this
business model could gain against its operations. This is a time efficient shopping methods.
As the e-commerce becomes the trend of shopping it allows the customers to grab profitable
deals on all top level brands. This make the payment more convenient as it do not allow the
users to consume its cash as they can pay online also. E-commerce has contributed massively
in the overall growth of the country’s GDP. As this model requires small resources and
limited capital to initiate business many small and micro scale business houses also came
along to contribute in the sector. All these aspects of the e-commerce business model could
support the sector in achieving the massive heights in the business.

Research Methodology
Research Type: This is all about what type of research is conduced that can deliver all
objectives and aim of the research. Research type comprises with two techniques qualitative
and quantitative types of research. Qualitative research comprises information in the precise
manner in theoretical format (Khairuldin and et.al.,2020). This involves principles, concepts
and information in other respective format. Quantitative research involves only statistical
form of information and knowledge. This research is based on the qualitative type of
research. This methodology allows the researcher to gather all kinds of information necessary
to achieve the overall research objectives.
Research Philosophy: Research philosophy is all about the tactics behind conducting the
certain research. This involves concepts of research and other such aspects. Research
philosophy comprises with two philosophies such as positivism and interpretive (Larshin and
Lishchenko, 2018). Positivism philosophy aims to generate the research based on the actual
or available information. While interpretive philosophy is more based on interpretations.
Positivism philosophy is used in this research.
Research Design: It is the overall design of the research. Research design is further classified
as three types inductive, deductive and adductive. Inductive research design conduct
observations assess the patterns and then identify theoretical concepts that can justify such
patterns. Deductive research design is based on identifying suitable than it assess the theories
in respect to the selected topic of research and in the end collect suitable information to
complete the entire research (Lourie and Rata, 2017). Abductive research depends on the
observation of research. This research will follow abductive research design.
Research Approach: Research approaches are classified into three types exploratory,
descriptive and explanatory. Descriptive research approach is all about identifying the
attitude of human being while explanatory approach is proposed is based on the factors
influence the research topic (Sampson, 2018). Explanatory approach is all about achieving
research objectives by asking questions over the research topic. Explanatory research
approach is followed in this study. Questionnaire method is used in this research.
Research Sampling: Research sampling is to segregate the overall information sources in
effective sources. Data collection is done with two methods probably and non-probably
method. Probability sampling technique is to approach random source of information
(Moeyaert, Zimmerman and Ledford, 2018). Non probability sampling approaches all

potential sources of information in respect to the research. In this research probability
sampling technique is used. To conduct the primary research 30 employees at Amazon
Company took participated in the research.
Data Collection: Data collection is conducted with the support of two methods primary
method of data collection and secondary method of data collection. Primary method involves
individual effort of researcher to collect the information. Secondary data collection technique
involves using the already collected information based on the research topic to conduct the
overall research. This research has done both the methods of data collection (Newman and
Gough, 2020). 30 employees of Amazon were asked the questions to collect the data.
Data Analysis: Data analysis is all about analysing the information collected in the data
collection stage. All information collected and gathered at the data collection stage are
assessed and evaluated at this stage. Data analysis is conducted with two methods thematic
analysis and content analysis. Thematic analysis usage figures, statistics and mathematical
form of information to generate information. Content analysis is about to assess the content
available over the research topic. Thematic analysis method is used in this research.
Ethical consideration
Ethical consideration is another key part of the research. Various principles related to
the ethical consideration such as obtaining information consent, protection of anonymity and
confidentiality, avoidance of descriptive practice, right to withdraw and other such principles
associated with the ethical consideration will follow in this research (O’Hagan and Sasamoto,
2016). Researcher will collect information from the reliable sources only to improve the
significance of the research. Following ethical considerations make the research more useful
and favourable in respect to all stakeholders associated with the research.
