through various processes, such as, by increasing their competitive level globally, my
developing market more efficient for the competitors, etc.
Lambregts, Beerepoot and Kloosterman (2015) stated that, most of the economist
agrees on the fact that it globalization has assisted in providing a net advantages to individual
economy to a large extent, such as, it helped in foreign direct investment (FDI) which increases
the rate of growth of business at global level. It also aids in providing technological innovation
which increases the competition among different organization, which helps improve economic

Milestone one: Completion of research Proposal........................................................................
Target date (set by tutor): ....In 2 months or by December ................................................................................
Milestone two: Collection of Primary data through questionnaire from 20 managers of
Tesco......................................................................................
Target date (set by tutor): By 30th June ............................................................
Section Five: Research approach and methodologies
Research Methodology
Research Approach-: There are two approaches for doing research, they are Inductive and Deductive for
solving any problem. In the current research of Tesco PLC Inductive approach of research will be used as
to identify themes and patterns for creating conceptual frameworks. In this present case study there is need
for researcher to analyse concept of Globalisation and determine current global requirement for Tesco
PLC. Identification of emerging economies for development of Brand and techniques that can be used for
improvement of operational frameworks for Tesco PLC (Schmitt, 2010). Thus, Scholar will have to
emphasis on evaluation for developing ethical framework for developing hypothesis for further study.
Research Design: There are two types of research that are Qualitative and Quantitative. In qualitative type
the research can be challenging when as compared to quantitative type (Coleman and Ringrose, 2013).
Here in this research Qualitative type will be conducted by researcher as research is theory based.
Evaluation and investigation of impact of digital transformation at global level of business for Tesco PLC
will be issued and presented in this research.
Data Collection-: As collection of data are mainly done by two methods that are primary and secondary.
In Primary Method of data collection that includes Interview, Questionnaire, Schedules and even through
observation whereas the sources of secondary data collection are technical and trade journals, public
records, statistical and historical documents etc. For finding out about emerging economies that are
required for brand development and determination of current global requirement of Tesco PLC the
researcher had taken both method of data collection that are primary and secondary. Therefore, for
conducting research primary method that had been taken by scholar are different questionnaires that are
created by them and provided to 20 managers of Tesco PLC for data collection. As data collection through
secondary method they had used different journals regarding technique of brad development in global
economies.
Sampling-: As, it is not possible for any researcher to conduct an investigation on whole data. So, there
are mostly two methods of sampling Probabilistic and Non- Probabilistic (Drake and Heath, 2010). The
researcher need to select method for sampling. Hence, for meeting research aim and objectives 20
managers of Tecso will be selected by the researcher through the means of purposive sampling technique.
Such sampling technique highly suits to the qualitative research design that will be employed by the
researcher.
Data Analysis-: Tools and techniques that will be selected by researcher plays a significant role as it
directly influence the suitable outcome that will arise. The different techniques of data analysis are totally
depended upon that which type of investigation method is used (Petty, Thomson and Stew, 2012). There
are different graphs and charts had will also be added in this research for better understandings of the
research findings that had been done by scholar.
Ethical Considerations-: To meet the ethical considerations the scholar had not copied any data and will
provide references form where he will take data. The consent form had to be filled by potential
respondents that must be sent by scholar for meeting ethical considerations.
Reliability and Validity-: To create higher level of validity and reliability of the research
