report, Nestle company is taken for which is one of the largest confectionery organisation in the
world. As the company operate its business in all over the world, so in order to achieve greater
market profitability it is very much essential for the firm to improve its recruitment, selection
and training process. (Binder, 2016) This report will discussed about recruitment, training and
selection as how it affect companies performance in the competitive market. Besides this, aims
and objectives would be given by considering many aspects of research like time, cost, resources
etc. So in order to carry out this project firstly aims and objectives are being explained along
with effective project management plan which includes certain aspects like cost, time, resources
etc. Moreover, work break down structure and Gantt chart will also be prepared and research will
be carried out taking into consideration qualitative and quantitative research methods.
Additionally research analysis will also be done and certain recommendation and reflection on
project will also be explained in this file.

As Nestle company which is translational food and drink firm established by Henri
Nestle in 1866 of which the main purpose is to increase its market share by expanding more and
more at international level. This could only be improved if company is able to select candidates
through recruitment and selection according to the requirements of the market. As improvement
in all this process will help business to come up with talented workforce in an organisation who
will assist them to meet external requirements easily as their exist different cultural background
people. By implementing training into working operates, it will help employees to update their
knowledge and skill level as per the changing environment, and technology in a company
(Glukhov, Vilin and Levina, 2015). Thus, in order to compete with the competitive market, it is

essential for company to enhance their selection and recruitment process so that employees
would be able to use their potential to its fullest.
Purpose of the report:
Main purpose of this report is that it will help a researcher to acknowledge the different
ways which will be helpful in improving the recruitment, selection and training process. As well
as about different tools and techniques like quantitative, quantitative etc. which will help
researcher to develop both at professional and personnel level (Hillson, 2017).
Aim: “To determine the impact of globalization on recruitment, selection and training in
organization. A study on Nestle company.”
Objectives:
To understand the concept of recruitment,selection and training process.
To examine how Nestle can improve its recruitment and selection process.
To identify how Nestle can improve its training process so as to achieve international
requirements.

Project management plan states about keeping a project on track so as to deal effectively
with hiccups and hurdles as it involves an enormous amount of planning before any kind of
immediate task on the project actually begins. There are certain aspect which must be
considered at the time of making project as then only Nestle would be able to run their business
operations smoothly with the aim of attaining highest potential and productivity (Muller, 2017).
Cost:
In order to accomplished the project, ample amount of funds is required which includes
cost of raw materials, electricity bill, wages and salary to employees etc. In order to complete
the task, 32000 sterling pounds would be required by the company as then only they can perform
according to their skills and capabilities. Apart from that, to complete the research, some amount
of money is also required so that authenticate and credible report would be generated. It includes,
cost of buying journals or magazines, miscellaneous cost spend at the time of collecting data,
printing etc. Besides this, lack of cost is one of the problem faced by research at the time of
conducting it (Nicholas and Steyn, 2017).

Time:
Time is one of the essential factor which could assist companies to gain competitive
advantage over others if properly used by the company(Polonsky and Waller, 2018). Thus, the
estimated time period to accomplished the project by Nestle is approximately 27 weeks. On the
other hand, research also requires time to complete as if less time is taken for completion of
research then it will decrease the credibility of it. Besides this, if longer period of time is taken
then the data used will become less authenticate due to change in external environment. So to
complete the research within approx. 8 weeks time will be taken.
Scope:
Scope for Nestle is wider and large, this is because as firm wants to maximise its market
share by effectively meeting international requirements and for this firm must ensure that their
selection and recruitment process is running smoothly. In researcher scope is also wide as while
carrying out effective research, various techniques and research method will be used like
qualitative, quantitative etc. which will assist researcher to obtain vast skills and competencies.
Thus, enhancement of such skills and knowledge will assist researcher to develop at personnel
and professional level.
Communication:
Nestle could considered social media application like Facebook, Instagram, twitter etc. as
it will assist company to recruit workers according to their needs and wants from all over world
who can effectively deal with different types of cultural people who rest at international level.
Whereas a researcher should also take into consideration proper mode of communication
methods so as to collect data like with the help of questionnaire, e-mail etc. a researcher can
gather reliable and accurate data which will help to complete research in an effective manner.
Resources:
As effective and optimum utilisation of resources helps very organisation in gaining
maximum profitability at minimum cost. Nestle would only be able to attain market leader
position if they able to utilise their available resources to its fullest. Thus, for this Nestle needs to
improve its recruitment, selection and training process so that the company can get talented
workforce within an organisation. Whereas, researcher needs to study and considered resources
like books, journals, magazines, government report etc. so as to collect authenticate and credible

information. By reading all these resources, researcher would be able to identify various
unresolved questions of the past and solved it by using primary source of information.
Quality:
If the company will improve its recruitment and selection process then it will assist firm
to to get talented and skilled workers who will give their full potential and effort towards the
achievement of better quality output for an organisation. Whereas a researcher can take into
consideration qualitative, quantitative, primary and secondary research method with the
assistance of which researcher can collect valuable and best quality data which would result in
drawing effective conclusion.

Work breakdown Structure:-
This structure describe scope towards manageable chunks which management team can
understand. In nutshell, The work breakdown structure is a blueprint of a project which have to
be completed within assigned deadline. By using, the following outline hierarchy it starts with
top level deliverables and further decomposed into sub-deliverables. The use of WBS in the
project for Nestle is that is helps in assigning responsibilities, monitoring the project, controlling
the project and also for allocation of resources. Moreover, it help in making task more concrete
and precise so that what has to be accomplished in each deliverables exactly knows by the
project team (Seymour and Hussein, 2014).

Gantt Chart:-
It is an approach use in a project management and appropriate way to show activities like
(events or tasks) represented against time. The top of the chart represents time scale and left of
the chart represent a list of activities. The position and length bar reflects the start date, activity
of the end date and duration. In today's era the Gantt chart are most frequently applicable in
tracking project schedules. The Gantt chart is build vertical axis indicating the task which is
made up of project and horizontal axis indicating total time span of the project ( Days, months,
weeks) (Sikdar and Payyazhi, 2014).

Quantitative Research:-
All the data collected in the quantitative research is numeric in nature and collected
through ways like surveys, questionnaire etc. Through this analysis, researchers believe that data
will yield an unbiased result because it is based on facts and figures and are generalised to some
larger population. This method includes observable phenomena through computational
techniques, mathematical models, theories, hypothesis and statistical observation (Špundak,
2014).
Qualitative Research:-
In this method of research, researchers use characteristics, symbols, metaphors,
definition, meanings and description of things to answer when and how certain phenomenon
occurs. This research particularly area application on the natural sciences and human elements of
the social, qualitative market research, service demonstration, business by non-profit and
journalism. Due to all the above mentioned factor, this approach would be used in the research
with the aim of getting highest accuracy and authentication in the research.
Primary method:
It is a type of data collection technique in which the information is collected for the first
time with the help of observation, questionnaire, focus interview etc. Thus a researcher take the
data collection method into consideration to accumulate data related to project as this method
help to collect related data which will help in completing the project plan effectively and

Secondary method:
