methodology are also be defined the techniques which is applied for solving the specific
problem.
Research type:
It can be referred to as nature or form of investigation which is required to be performed

also assist researcher in developing the understanding about the problem that is essential in order
to make good decision.
Advantages of qualitative research :
One of the largest advantages of qualitative research is to enable participants to provide
more detail response and help researcher for creating in depth understanding about the subject
(Flick, 2018.). The qualitative research is suitable for those situations when there is requirement
to develop the detail understanding about the subject.
Limitation of the Qualitative research
The largest limitation of the qualitative research is that high volume of information
gathered by researcher during investigation procedure make data analysis more time-consuming.
In addition to this, presence of the investigator during information gathering is unavoidable as it
could have significant influence on responses provided by participants (Razzaghi and Afshar,

reliability of data can not be tested. In addition to this, other biggest limitation of the qualitative
research is that findings drawn from the information gathered during investigation procedure can
not be generalized. Conclusion is required to be hedged.
Advantages of Quantitative research :
The largest advantage of qualitative research is that there is large sample sizes which
makes conclusions from quantitative research more generalize (Clarke, 2018.). Other advantage
of quantitative research is that it assist researcher in ensuring high reliability as well as validity
of the data gathered during investigation procedure.
Limitation of quantitative research :
Improper presentation is considered to be as one of the biggest limitation of quantitative
research. In addition to this, limited results are produced through quantitative research because of
which decision-making by researcher become quite difficult tasks. Analysis the information in
quantitative research require depth knowledge about the use of statistical as well as mathematical
tools or techniques (Quinlan., Carr and Griffin, 2019.). As due to lack of knowledge about the
utilization of statistical as well as mathematical tools might give rise to risk of error in outcome.
