INTRODUCTION
• The aim for the conducting this research is to
analyse the impact of immigration on the economy
of UK.
The main objective behind carrying out research are:
• To evaluate the concept of immigration.
• To analyse the positive and negative effect of
immigration over UK's economy.

Background:
• Immigration is the movement of people from their own
country to some other country or their destination
country.
• The movement is usually performed by the people either
to settle themselves in the destination country or to
become the naturalized citizen of that country.
• The immigration can both have positive and negative
impact over the UK's economy.
• The main reason of the immigration in the UK's
economy is due to the Brexit.

Literature review:
• As per the views of Wadsworth, (2017) the impact of
immigration can be identified and analyse only with the
analysing of difference between the income and government
expenditure.
• This means that the source of income of government
basically includes taxes which they will collect from
migrants.
• However, the expenditure generally covers the cost of
services that is incurred by government in order to provide
the services to the migrants.

that the impact of immigration is totally
dependent upon the migrant's age,
characteristics or his skills.
• This means that if highly skilled employee
working at a good position will migrate from
the UK then the degree of impact would be
high in comparison of low skilled worker.
• This is because an employees working at
higher job with high salary will contribute
more towards the economy in comparison of
low skilled worker.

the major elements of GDP of an economy.
• Thus, when the people of UK will migrate to some other
country then the pressure over the government will reduce.
• This is because now the expenses will not go high in
comparison of the situation which exists before the

young and talented employees in the UK's economy which
will leads to the generation of more income in the
economy.
• Thus, it would be right to said that the government will
ultimately benefit from the immigration.

of immigration which is being analysed in this research

which includes the non-numeric facts and figures.
