Reflection Account
In the present report, another section is reflection which is developed on the overall
experience and learning of the investigator. This is the reflective report which is formulated
below with the help of Gibbs reflective model (Sekarwinahyu and et. al., 2018). This is the
framework which will assist in reflecting different aspect experienced by the researcher during
this research. Some of the most essential factors which are going to be discussed in this reflective
report consist of description, evaluation, feelings, conclusions as well as action.
MAIN BODY
Description
The present module is prepared on the of Mental wealth where one of the section in this
research report is based on reflection. In this module it has been said that the mental wealth
define as the power as well as significance of knowledge which will assist in creating certain
abilities as well as skills. In this module, the topic selected by researcher is “Impact of Merger &
Acquisitions on Performance of Selected Companies of UK”. As per the topic there are some
objectives along with hypothesis were prepared as well as investigate which includes different
sections. These sections consist of methodology used in the investigation, results & conclusion
which is prepared to accomplish all the objectives and hypotheses in an effective manner. It has
also been said that the present module is prepared on the basis of secondary method where
books, online article, journals and other secondary sources were used. Furthermore, the
methodology which is used in this investigation is mixed method which also ensures that
outcome is based on qualitative as well as quantitative data. Along with this, the present module
assist me in order to satisfy my objectives associated with merger and acquisition concept and
three organisations (Markkanen and et. al., 2020). It has also been said that these are the
variables which are considered as the independent variables which have their influence on the
merger and acquisition.
Overall, this is the module which has been considered as an opportunity for me which will
assist me in order to examine my whole concept related to mental wealth.
Feelings
In the second step of Gibbs model, different types of feeling were experienced and learned
by me which is quite effective in order to say that it highly influence my overall performance at a

specific extend. While doing this, there were positive as well as negative both feelings are
developed where I can say that the feeling is mixed while conducting this module. At first, a
poster is developed which includes investigation on the basis of chosen topic. This is the point
which I find difficult at initial stage where in order to sort all the objectives as well as hypothesis
is quite tough for me (Tawanwongsri and Phenwan, 2019). Beginning duration for me is filled
with nervousness and low confidence level but by each passing time frame I have developed my
knowledge and understanding which changes my feelings. As a result, a sense of motivation and
confidence was build within me which as a result encourages me to prepare the poster
presentation in an effective manner.
Evaluation
My overall experience behind this module consist of both positive as well as negative
elements where one of the biggest negative factor is that it was difficult for me to develop
hypothesis on timely manner. This is the time where I decided to coordinate with my colleagues
and peers which assist me in order to develop poster presentation in an effective and appropriate
manner (Dressler and et. al.,, 2018). In addition to this, there are various positive aspects apart
from negative where the most essential factor is improvement of my overall skills. With the help
of developing presentation on power point, my knowledge and skill related to working on
Microsoft power point has been enhanced. Apart from this, my overall knowledge related to the
topic which is based on merger and acquisition has been improved which assist me in near future
in both personal as well as professional life.
Conclusions
As per my view point, it has been observed by me that I have given my full efforts in order
to prepare this module in an effective manner. In addition to this, all the information which is
collected by me are from secondary sources which is somewhat ineffective for the justification of
my hypothesis. These are the hypotheses which needs to be tested in systematic manner and with
more accuracy if primary data has been selected by me. Therefore, this is another most important
factor which highly affect my overall working. Also, I can use tables, graphs and bullet points in
order to make the whole presentation effective and easily understandable by others in a quick
and easy manner.

Action
At the last stage of Gibbs reflective model, a phase action is discussed which is usually for
the future. In addition to this, it has been examined that if I would get another chance to prepare
same sort if module again in near future, I need to implement various changes as per my
knowledge and learning about the topic. The first and foremost thing which I need to do is that I
would select primary data collection method as it is one of the most effective tool which will
assist me in order to conclude the whole research in an effective manner (Harerimana, 2018). In
this method, I would opt interview or questionnaire method which as a result would help me in
order to enhance my interpersonal skills along with communication skills and interpersonal
skills.
Apart from this, in case of result section I would definitely prepare it in tabular format as it
help in easily understanding all the elements and outcomes. Also I would also include more use
of effective materials so that the whole results will be developed in an effective and appropriate
manner. Therefore, by doing further modifications in future related with the research and module
I will be able to gain positive outcome in an effective manner. As a result this will turn out the
overall impact on my whole performance level which as a results assist me in conducting further
study in an appropriate as well as successful manner.
