RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
This is an important part for a company in order to collect relevant information. It is
critical for attaining the aims and objectives in the most effective way possible. The
methodical process of identifying, analysing, and interpreting data is referred to as research
methodology. The researcher employs a variety of philosophical and methodological
techniques in order to collect and assess information in a timely and accurate manner in
accordance with the chosen topic (Vaiman, Sparrow, and Collings, 2018). It is broken down
into several parts, each of which is detailed below.
Research Philosophy: It is composed of two parts, positivism and interpretivism, in terms of
research philosophy. According to the chosen issue, the investigator will use positivist
philosophy to find and collect quantitative data. This is because it gather and analyse
objective data which helps in understanding the social world perception about the topic in
numerical way.
Research Approach: To test a theory, there are two research methods: deductive and
inductive. In this investigation, the examiner uses the deductive approach. The main purpose
for this is research problem is addressed using logical technique where existing hypothesis is
being tested approprialtely.
Research Strategy: There are several other types of research strategies, including surveys,
comprehensive literature reviews, case studies, and so on. In this study, the examiner will use
a survey research approach to collect data in numerical form. Using survey data can be
collected from large pool of applicants in lesser time as well in low cost.
Research Choice: Research methods are the two options for study. They are even further
categorized into three parts: mono method, multi method, and mixed method. The Mono
technique will be used to obtain quantitative data in this study. The major reason for this is it
gather and analyse single type of data for the study.
Time horizon: A time structure with two horizons, cross sectional and longitudinal, is
referred to as a time horizon. Researchers will use a cross-sectional time horizon to collect
data in a smaller duration of time. The data for the study is also gathered for single time that
show more valid picture for the investigation.
