The personality of a person is responsible for the success of the life of the person. The
major reason for this is that when the personality of the person is not good then this will be affect
the quality of the life of person to a great extent. The working of a person is dependent over the
personality which the person is having and this affects the mental well- being of the person to a
great extent.
MAIN BODY
The personality of the person is being developed by many of the different types of the
factors and traits which affect the mental and health of the person. The personality is the
individual differences in characteristics which affects the pattern relating to thinking and
behavioural pattern of the person. The personality affects to a great extent to the mind and
mental well- being of the person. Within the personality as well there are different types of
factors which affects the working and thinking capacity of the person to a great extent. As per the
views of Cvejic, et.al., (2017) there are many different factors relating to the personality like
cultural factors, level of knowledge and education, family environment, workplace environment
and many other different types of the factors which affects the personality and thinking capacity
of the people. In addition to these factors there are many different types of the factors which
affects the working of the person and their thinking to a great extent.
In accordance with the views of Tuzovic and Kabadayi, (2020) the major factor which
affect the mental well- being of the person is the individual difference. The individual difference
is defined as the enduring characteristic of the person which involves different types of the
characteristics like the behavioural, cognitive, affective and many other different types of
characteristic. This individual difference affects the mental and social well- being of the person
as this involves the thinking capacity of the person. Every individual is different and it is not
possible that what a person is thinking the other person is also thinking the same. Hence, for this
the most essential aspect which reflects the personality of the person is that the thinking capacity
of the person is difference and same thing may be interpreted by two different people in different
manner.
Further in addition to this Petrie et.al., (2018) criticized that the mental toughness is also
a major factor which affect the personality and mental well- being of the people. The mental

toughness is defined as the positive psychological resources that are crucial for achievement
context and domain of mental health. Many of the studies have highlighted the fact that the
personality of the person is affected by the mental well- being of the person to a great extent. The
major reason underlying this fact is that if the person is not in proper state of mind then they are
not able to manage their work and life in proper order.
On the other side Forestell and Nezlek, (2018) contradicts that if the personality or the
mind of the person are not stable then they cannot lead a good and effective life and this creates a
negative impact over the personal and mental well- being of the company. In case the person is
not in proper state of mind due to some incident or any mishappening then this will affect the
decision making and thinking capacity of the person. The major reason for this is that when the
person will not be in calm mind then they will not be able to think in proper manner and this will
affect the working and personality of the person.
Along with Florez Armstrong and Cortissoz (2020) articulated that if the person is having
any kind of stress in their life then also this will have a great impact over their personality and
working. This is pertaining to the fact that if a person is having stress then it means that they are
not in their normal state of mind. Hence, this will have a great impact over the thinking and
decision making ability of person.
In addition to this the culture is another major factor which affects the working of the
company to a great extent. The major reason for this is that the place where the person is
working or living affect the mind and mental state of the person to a great extent. The major
reason for this is that where the person is staying or interacting the environment and people
around them affect the mental state and the thinking capacity to a great extent. This is
particularly essential because of the reason that it is the tendency of human that they are
influenced by the saying and working of other people to a great extent. Hence, when the person
interacts in the social group then they tend to get attracted towards the working pattern and the
thinking capabilities of the other people as well. This in turn affects the personality and the
mental state of the person to a great extent and the person tend to think like the other people
around them.
On the contradictory notes Ryan and et.al., (2017) stated that along with this another
major factor affecting the mental well- being and personality of the person is the level of
knowledge and the education which the person is possessing. This is also a major type of factor

which affects the working and thinking capacity of the person and as a result of this the overall
personality of the person. If the person is having a wider knowledge and is able to easily
understand all the things happening nearby then this will assist the person in taking effective
decision and manage their life in much better and effective manner. This is particularly because
of the reason that when the person is having a wide range of knowledge then it reflects that
person is in much better state of mind, and they can take effective decision in order to manage
their life in growing way.
Furthermore, by referring to the works of du Plooy and et.al., (2020) the personality of a
person also reflects the behavioural tendency of the person and the habits, thinking and mentality
of the person. In addition to this the personality of the person can be depicted with help of the
model of five personality traits which involves openness, conscientiousness, extraversion,
agreeableness and neuroticism. All these factors or aspect of personality creates a great impact
over the overall personality of the person. The major reason for this is that if the person will be
having characteristic of openness then this means that the person is more imaginative and have a
deeper insight to understand different things in correct manner. The people who are more open
are interested in all the different types of the changes taking place in the environment whether
they are positive or negative.
With evaluation of thoughts of Di Fabio, Cheung and Peiró (2020) another major feature
of the personality affecting the mental well- being of the person is the conscientiousness which
includes the fact that these people tend to think that how their behaviour will affect the working
of others. If the person is high in conscientiousness, then it means that they will spend more time
in the preparing themselves before starting any task. Further these people also try to pay attention
to all the different types of the details for the completion of the work in proper and effective
manner. On the flip side if the person is not high in conscientiousness then they will have
problem with every little working of the company.
As per the views of Chen and et.al., (2020) the other aspect of personality like the
extraversion it was seen that this is the ability of the person to be more sociable, assertive and
emotional expressive. With the analysis it was seen that if the personality of person is more
extraversion than they will like to enjoy with new people, will like to start new conversation with
people. Further if the personality of the person will not be much extraversion then this will result
in people feeling solitude, dislike making small talk with people and many other problems.

From the analysis of Yıldırım and Arslan, (2020), it was evaluated that another major
personality trait agreeableness which reflects the dimension which involves the different
characteristics like kindness, affection and many other skills. If the personality of person is high
in the agreeableness then this will increase interest of other people, and they will enjoy helping
others, feel empathy and many others. Further if the person is low in agreeableness then they will
take less interest in other and will manipulate other.
In against of this Satuf and et.al., (2018) argued that another factor affecting personality
is neuroticism which is a trait characterized by sadness, emotional instability and others. This
trait of personality states that if the person is high in neuroticism then they will experience a lot
of stress and worries and will get upset easily. Furthermore, if the person will be low in
neuroticism then they will be emotionally stable and can deal with stress in much better and
effective manner.
On the flip side Type A and B personality, (2017) states that is two type o personality that
is Type A and Type B personality. These are two different types of personality which are totally
opposite to one another. The Type A are the type of people who are more competitive and time
efficient and aggressive and hostile towards their work. In contrast to this Type B is a personality
which involves the people who are more relaxed and easy going. Both these personalities are
different from one another and the factors are also which affects differently.
Along with this Kujala and et.al., (2017) stated that there are some personality traits
which reflects the characteristic of person to other people as well. These traits are like coping,
predictors, appraisal, optimism, straightforwardness and many other different types of trait which
need to be inherited within the person. For managing and having a good personality a person
need to work and adapt these personality traits so that they are in position to manage their life in
proper and effective manner.
CONCLUSION
Hence, with the evaluation of these aspects it can be stated that the personality factors
impact the health and well- being of the people to a great extent. Further it is also reflected that if
the personality of the person is not good, and they are not able to manage their working in proper
and effective manner then this will affect their working to a great extent. On the other side if the
person is able to manage their thinking and personality in proper manner then this will assist
them in managing their life in proper and effective manner.
