Smartphone: It can be defined as the type of cellular phones having a wide range of
specifications. It has the ability to run software applications on their operating systems. Thus
multi-purpose mobile computing device allows the users to storage and manage essential
business information (Bezovski, 2016). Most of the recent smartphones have a touch screen
interface and are built with high design. The processor power of smartphones is one of the
factors determining the cost of smartphones these days. Battery life and high-end cameras are
the other significant aspects of smartphones. Smartphones are widely used in both
commercial enterprises as well as in our society. There are different categories of operating
devices such as Windows Operating System, Mac Operating System, Linux Operating
System and Dos operating system which are widely found in most of the smartphones. The
application of smartphones is increasing in every industry.
Electronic Industry: It can be defined as the type of industry which manufactures
electronic gadgets such as the DVD players, laptops, desktops, cameras, iPads, iPods, game
consoles, printer, washing machine, remote control, paper shredders and radio. Huge amount
of automated systems are used in the productions rooms of the electronic industry which
helps in optimizing the facilities of the production rooms (Cantrell et al., 2017). Huge amount
of toxic chemicals are used in the electronic industry which can have a negative impact on the
environment. The organizational target of most of the electronic industry is to reduce
electronic waste. Huge amount of investments are required from the management team of the
electronic industry to solve the business issues of the electronic industry. Most of the
electronic industry is growing at a rate between 2%-5% every year in any geographic region.

The products and service offered by the electronic industry are widely used in most business
organizations as well as in our society.
Part two –Braining storming
Impact of the smartphone can be easily identified in most of the electronic industry as
it helps to address the communication issues between the internal and external stakeholders
of the organization. All the major decision making of the electronic industry has been
improved using smartphones. The performance of the stakeholders of the electronic industry
can also be enhanced using smartphones (Kumar & Holuszko, 2016). It can also be said that
the reliability of the external stakeholders can also be improved using the services offered by
smartphones. The performance of the products of the electronic industry can also be solved
with the help of smartphones. Transparency of the business process can be significantly
improved using smartphones.
The application of the smartphones can have a huge impact on the other industries as
well such as the manufacturing industries and the Information Technology industries. It can
be said that both these two industries have different types of external stakeholders associated
with them such as the service providers and the third party vendors (Cantrell et al., 2017).
The success and the failure of these industries depends huge on these external resources, it
must be said that information which are exchanged between these external stakeholders with
the internal stakeholders of the industries such as the operational manager and floor manager
can be done using the video conferencing facility provided by the smartphones.
The next generation cellular network technology are incorporated into smartphones
for different types of purposes. All these two technologies together can have a huge impact in
most of the electronic industry (Ai, Yang & Wang, 2016). The maintenance management
applications of the electronic industry can be managed using the combined effort of 5G and

smartphones. It can be said that the performance issues of the stakeholders of the electronic

5G and smartphones. Communication with the consumers can also be done using the
smartphone as it can help to understand the customer expectations of this industry.
Part three – Regulation and Ethics
The use of smartphones can be very much beneficial for the electronic industry to
understand the needs and requirements of the consumers which is always changing in nature.
The different types of factors which are responsible to find the impact of the use of
smartphones are discussed as follows:
 Most of the stakeholders of the electronic industry must be having smartphones with
same facility.
 Internet connections is a must to understand the expectation of the consumers.
 There should be not compatibility issues with the software applications used by the
stakeholders of the electronic industry.
 There must have any networking security issues with the smartphones used the
stakeholders of this organization.

electronic industry it can be said the radiations coming from the smartphones can
have a huge impact on the health of the stakeholders of the industry.
 Norms: There are lots of social conventions associated with the use of smartphones
in the electronic industry. The usage of the smartphones can be a source of distraction
for the employees of this industry.
 Market: The economic forces can have a huge impact on the use of the smartphone
in the electronic industry (Lüthje & Butollo, 2017). The prices of the smartphones
which are used as a communication device by the stakeholders of the electronic
industry depend hugely on market conditions such as inflation and recession. These
factors can have a significant impact on the growth and productivity of an electronic
industry.
