With the advent in globalisation the technological advancement is also creating effective
means of change in both business and educational sectors. Both the sectors are growing rapidly,
adding a transnational approach in its course and the impact of technology can also be seen in the
context of developing a futuristic orientation in business and education.
As far as the role of technology in business is concerned, the time effectiveness with
implementing a number of new mechanism create advantages and challenges for both the
teachers and students. Apart from the traditional students, technology provides a global approach
where the online students are also taking part in education (Benjamin, 2016). Use of social
technologies helps to build up a more efficient communication between the teachers and
students. The same thing happens in case of the business sectors as well. For an instance, Brian
(2017) articulated that the intervention of digitisation in business increases the rate of innovation
that will bring more value and speed in the daily activities in business. As a matter of fact,
information technology brings more efficacy into the business system in terms of storing data
and fluent use of information.
This perception regarding the advantage of technology is a misnomer as the frequent
change in technology and rapid development perturb the establishment in the process of doing
stable business. Regulatory compliance, fraudulency and data breaching have become a common
threat the business organisations are facing (Nick, 2017). In the educational sphere also a
communication gap can be occurred between the teachers and distant students. Therefore, it will
be wrong to consider the advent of technology leads to development in education and business.
