Introduction
In this report “The impact of technology management on organizational performance”
topic is selected. The discussion will be made on describing the different view of the authors
regarding the subject matter through focusing on the common themes. Further, the research plan
is developed based on the investigated articles.
Literature review
The common themes of the literature review are common objectives, increase efficiency,
gain competitive advantage, direct association among technology management and organization.
Charles conducted the study to understand the influence of managing technological
innovation on the performance of the organization (Charles, 2014). In this study researcher
mainly focuses on determining the association among the strategic planning as well as
capabilities of the organization in raising the outcomes of the organization. The data collection
was done through adopting the primary method that is by taking survey from the 137 employees.
The data analysis was done through adopting qualitative analysis technique (Charles, 2014).
From the findings researchers describes that it improve the efficiency of the organization by
increasing the quality of the staff, productivity and through raising the goodwill as well as
reputation of the organization.
Fartash, et al. also conducted the study on similar perception that is by investigating the
relationship among technology management and productivity of the organization (Fartash, et al.,
2018). The data collection was also done through adopting the survey method that is by
developing the questionnaire and through using qualitative technique for analyzing the data. The
results of the study have similar findings that are there is direct relationship between managing
the technology and productivity of the organization (Fartash, et al., 2018). Further, it has highly
positive influence in the profitability of the organization. Researchers also provide similar
perception that it leads in enhancing the productivity and outcomes of the organization it is
because of increasing innovation and creativity in the organization.

The study was also focuses on similar objective that is it focuses on defining the affect
which technology management has on the outcomes of the organization (García-Sánchez,
García-Morales, & Martín-Rojas, 2018). The data collection was done through adopting the test
model that is by adopting structural equation modeling. The findings of the study revealed that it
support the organization to gain competitive advantage and it leads in providing positive results
that are by contributing towards the sustainability as well as increasing the performance of the
organization. Researchers also common objective and describe that technology play an important
role in increasing innovation and raising the efficiency in the organization (García-Sánchez,
García-Morales, & Martín-Rojas, 2018). It also leads in maintaining sustainability and support
the organization to sustain in the long run.
Zhang, Khan, Lee, & Salik focus on conducting the study on investigating the association
among organizational innovation and technologies in gaining competitive advantage (Zhang,
Khan, Lee, & Salik, 2019). The study demonstrate that managing the technology is become the
strategy to expand in global environment and to raise the capabilities of the organization. The
technology helps in identifying new sources and supports the organization in maintaining
flexibility in the organization.
The flexibility leads in raising the organizational performance and promote the
organization to improve the functioning of the organization (Zhang, Khan, Lee, & Salik, 2019).
The findings of the study revealed that technology management results in increasing the
competitive ability of the organization and support the organization to enhance technological
skills and adopting technological competencies and abilities to raise the operations of the
organization. Researchers also describes that it also leads in improving the process, strategies
and structure of the organization.
Future Research
The above literature describes that technology management leads in raising efficiency
and also support the organization to gain competitive advantage. The above studies only focus on
describing the impact but do not reveal the results on finding the degree of influence technology
management has on organizational performance. Therefore, in future researchers can conduct
study on evaluating “the ratio of influence managing technology has on the productivity of the

Canadian organization”. It focuses on providing the information about the percentage of profits
companies in Canada earn due to managing technology in efficient manner.
Data needed
To get the result researchers involve and focusing on gathering the information about the
strategies which companies in Canada adopt to manage the technology and also describe the
major innovation in the technology to maintain overall procedure and system in the organization.
Further, to achieve the objective o conducting the research researchers can also focuses on
finding the data about the percentage of revenue increased by the organization through using new
technology and ratio of expansion Canadian organization does after managing the technology in
effective manner. This can support the organization in reducing the cost and decreasing the
wastage in the organization.
Data acquired
The data will be acquired through adopting primary method hat is by developing
questionnaire regarding the technology management in organization effectiveness. The data
collection is done through taking the survey from the employees working in the organization of
Canada. It is because this helps in providing accurate information regarding the subject matter.
This data collection method support in providing opinion and perception of the employees
regarding the new policies and structure they adopt in administrating the technology of the
organization. Therefore questionnaire method can support me in achieving the objective of
conducting the research.
Data analyzed
The analysis of data is done through adopting testing method that is by using Pearson’s
correlation technique it is because through this relationship between the technology management
and organizational efficiency will be analyzed in efficient manner. Through this relationship
between both the variables are tested to get the valid results. It support in providing accurate data
and support the researchers to compare and get the information about the revenue and profits

they received through using effective policies for technology management and this leads in
providing quality results regarding the aim of conducting the research.
Research Questions
The aim of conducting the research is “to investigate the degree of impact technology
management have on outcomes of Canadian organization”. It is because not much of the study is
conducted to understand the ratio of relationship they both have among each other. Further,
research can focus on addressing the above questions-
 Describe the strategies which are adopted by organizations in Canada?
 What is the ratio of influence technology management has on functioning of the
organization?
This strategy leads in providing information regarding the factors which support the
organization to expand in international environment and give the knowledge about the strategies
which increase profits of Canadian organization.
