Introduction
Improvement of the child health informatics is a project that is needed to be implemented
in order to manage the data regarding the patients efficiently. There is an integrated data
management system for the health acre department. However, that information system lacks
from the better manageability of the information and the data [3]. The main purpose of the paper
is to understand the implemented communication plan and indulgent of the stakeholders in the
implementation of child health informatics system.
Discussion
Assessment of the current project communication plan:
For the implementation of the child health informatics, communication plan is important
thing to be maintained. The proper plan of communication will be helpful for the proper
implementation of the project. Apart from that the flow of communication will be helpful for
better understanding of the project requirements that will mitigate the possibility of the scope
creep in the project.
The business plan which is followed in this context is the collaborative methodology
process. There are three parts or sections in the communication plan. Each of the sections has
certain responsibility or the contribution in the implementation of the communication plan.
Business process analysis: The business process analysis section will help the project
team understand about the way the project is going to be implemented. This will define the goals
and the objectives of the child health informatics system [1]. Apart from that defining the context
of the current work along with the identification of the business rules are also defined in this

section. The development of the common task sets along with the well-defined work flow
diagram are also carried out in this section.
Business process redesign: The business process redesign section defines the methods of
completing the work [1]. The workflow that has been developed at the business process analysis
section is examined and evaluated in this section. From the analysis the inefficiencies if present
in the workflow are identified. After the identification, proper modifications of those
inefficiencies is done in this section. These steps will lead to the refinement of the business
process and the remodeling of the process in the context of the functionality. Apart from that the
restructure of the workflow is carried out in this section.
Requirement definition: This section will determine the way information system can be
fitted into the selected workflow. This section will define the specific tasks those are needed to
be done in order to optimize the process of the business [8]. The business rules and regulations
which are applicable are needed to be defined in this context. The graphical presentation of the
functioning of the information system is carried out in this stage [6]. Apart from that the
definition for scope of further implementation in the next step is defined in this section.
Assessment of the current project management plan:
The assessment of the current project management plan will be helpful to determine the
effectiveness of the plan. It has been seen that the project communication plan taken for the
implementation of the child health informatics maintains the proper communication between the
different sections [7]. In this case, it can be said that the proper IT governance plan has been
followed in this section as the business unit has proper synchronization with the technical unit.
Apart from that the communication plan supports the five stages of the project life cycle and the
flow of communication spreads from the initialization to the execution stage. After that the

communication plan provides a way for accessing the feedback that will allow the further
improvement of the overall project.
Recommendation of the communication plan for future project involving all the
stakeholders from the different sections:
The development of the communication plan that will allow all the stakeholders to get
involved in the project is a complex task. In this case, the classification of the internal and
external stakeholders are needed to be mentioned [4]. The internal stakeholders are the
stakeholders are the members of the project team and the people in the organization directly
involved in the development of the project. On the other hand, the external stakeholders are the
people who are not a part of the project development team. They can be clients or the resource
suppliers.
The main objective of the recommended communication plan is to maintain the proper
flow of the communication between the internal and external stakeholders. In this context, the
internal stakeholders can arrange daily meetings with the external stakeholders regarding the
clarification of the requirements and the progress of the projects [5]. Apart from that the clients
can give feedback regarding the project requirements and the functionalities through this
meeting. Apart from that the internal communication plan can be developed through the internal
meeting between the project managers and the team leaders regarding the progress and the
standard of the project.
Justification of the recommendations
The main objective of the recommended communication plan is to maintain the
communication between the internal and external stakeholders. It has been seen that maintaining
the communication with the external stakeholder is important throughout the project as it will be

helpful to maintain the clarity in the progress of the project along with the requirements of the
project [8]. Apart from that the possibility of the scope creep in the project can be mitigated
through this implementation of the communication plan [4]. This will help to deliver the project
in time along with maintaining the estimated budget.
Conclusion
The discussion is regarding the implementation of the communication and the
involvement of the stakeholders regarding the development of the project. It has been seen that
maintain the communication plan is important and helpful for the proper execution of the child
health informatics system. Apart from that the involvement of the stakeholders can be
implemented through the proper communication plan. It can be concluded from the above
discussion that with the implementation of the proper communication plan the execution of the
project can be done on time with avoiding the scope creep in the during the development phase.
This will make the project to deliver the outcome with meeting all the requirements.
