I hope you are doing well.
I am writing this letter to the honourable chairman for suggesting a need of
mindfulness program for the employees of our Company along with listing various benefits
of such program for the employees as well as the Company.
Our company is one of the top organizations of New York and we are so proud of that
we are the permanent employees of the company running under your precious leadership. As
you know that our company is one of the leading firms in the hospitality industry and always
deals with the guests as well as clients with an aim of exceeding their expectations. In this
context, our company’s employees are the supreme assets for achieving the highest position
among the all present as well as future competitors. Therefore, it is suggested by us to have a
mindfulness program for all of the employees of our company. This mindfulness program
will be fully sponsored by the company and will have weekly sessions to communicate the
effective ways of becoming highly potential leaders. Besides, the mindfulness program is
profitable for the company as well as its employees, as they will get to know about how to
accomplish success with ease (Chiesa & Serretti, 2009). The on-work constraints faced by the

employees of our company include long-shift timings, unexpected work-related calls,
company emails receiving even on the vacations and sometimes 24-hours work shifts. In spite
of these constraints the enthusiasm level which we maintain always in order to fulfil our
guests’ expectations and make them happy is not an easy task. Thus, we all need an effective
mindfulness program for releasing the personal as well as professional stresses we carry with
us.
I would like to quote an example of my own life; recently I have joined a mindfulness
program run by two great speakers of Mindfulness Based Achievement (MBA) foundation.
Afterwards, I feel a distinct liveliness and readiness in me towards my work as well as
personal life. Besides, the idea of writing this letter to you came from that incident only. The
speakers of that program know some great mindfulness techniques for releasing work-stress
easily through mediation and other mindfulness practices.
These mindfulness techniques are having the potential to renovate workplaces in all
innovative easy ways. Moreover, the role of mindfulness program in an organizational setting
helps in articulating the exact needs of the employees, in order to improve their non-
judgmental communication, and for focusing on the core values of helpfulness (Mindfulness
Meditation Centre, 2018).
Therefore, incorporating a mindfulness program into our Company will develop inner
serenity that helps employees to talk over disagreements as well as work-related frustrations
respectfully (Chiesa & Serretti, 2009). Additionally, it is an essential practice for the
company as well as its employees for achieving superiority in the workplace.
