INTRODUCTION
Academic skills are such capabilities of person that encourage the student to learn more
things and find new opportunities in career after completing their education. Academic skills are
beneficial in raising confidence of person and enhancing their self-esteem (Saputra, Komariah
and Natsir, 2017). Employability skills are such skill that encourage employer to hire such
talented people in organisation. This make them deserving and employable person in business
unit. Employability is highly depended upon capability of person and their experience or
knowledge. Sometimes person learn from experience and sometime individual learn from their
own capabilities. These are also known as foundational skills which make the person unique
from others. Employer wants to work with talent those who are supportive and have ability to
work better, if individual do not have that abilities then they do not get selected in big
organisations. Present study will explain employability skills and its usefulness to individual. It
will present importance of these skills to people those who are studying in higher education. It
will describe employability skills and its significance to person.
TASK
Employability skill are also known as soft skills which works as building blocks in the life
of person, these skill provides opportunity to individual to get more jobs and promotions in
business unit. People those who are studying in colleges and universities develop their skills so
to get career opportunities in near future (Ahmad, 2016).

sometimes create problematic situation for them (Farista, Bharati and Fitriati, 2018). If
individual is unable to manage their work on time, then it results in getting less score and even
create obstacles in their learning as well. Good time management skill makes the student unique
or different from others.
