A goal refers an idea of getting a future result. Students have academic goals which they

performance based which helps them out in completing both short term and long term goals. This
study is going to show importance as well as reasons of setting goals by university students.

studies effectively. Setting a goal keeps students motivated and dedicated towards their work.
There are several benefits of setting academic goals by university students which are discussed

into makes them more likely to follow them. So, it can be said that setting goals make them

concentration. Competition is increasing day by day and for being in the competition it is
important to focus on studies. By setting goals, university students can concentrate on things that
