conditions that cause at the time of working in the organisation.
Workplace health and safety is all about converting the positive well-being within the
organisation in terms of providing comfort and happiness to their employees. It includes the legal
requirements of the health and safety by considering the suitable policies that include the
implementation in an effective manner for the wellbeing of employees. To carry forward this
research Sainsbury’s is considered which is the second largest Supermarket chain in United
Kingdom and founded in 1869 by John James Sainsbury. Company split itself into three
divisions including Sainsbury’s supermarket, Sainsbury’s bank and Sainsbury’s Argos.
Therefore, research include details about the concept and importance of Health and safety with
the help of suitable research methods.

productivity of employees as the well skilled and talented workforce are considered as an asset
for Sainsbury’s. For example, productive employees can produce effective and relevant output in
less period of time and also eliminate the operational cost.

depict the healthy employment by which employees perform their tasks more effectively and
efficiently. Apart from this there are various accidents that occur in the safe working
environment as well which puts negative impact on the functioning of Sainsbury’s as it results in
