INTRODUCTION
According to the current situation arise at the world of pandemic which is COVID19, it is
examined that people across the world adopt various online platforms in order to conduct all
there business functions in an effective and appropriate manner. This as a result demand of
online market increases. Similarly in case of education sector, teachers provide online classes,
lectures and presentation to their students so that they can cover their studies at their home in the
current situation of pandemic. For such situations, it is required by the students that they must
have effective listening skills so they can easily understand the overall scenario in a well defined
manner. Along with this, students will be able to prepare their assignment and notes in a
systematic manner. The present report consist of various strategies which assist in improving the
learning skills of students. Furthermore, discussion about how teachers can assist their students
in order to learn and understand the lectures. At last, recommendations related to the same are
given.
Evaluate various strategies which assist students in order enhance their listening skills
Different sort of platforms used by teachers in order to provide lectures where Zoom is one
of the commonly used application. This is the most effective method where teachers provide
lectures to their students which will assist them in order to develop their knowledge and
understanding in a positive manner. It can effectively said that Zoom applications assist in
providing their students video sessions which is the most effective platform in the current
situation. For effectively understanding all the online lectures it is required by the students that
they must have effective listening skills. Some of the strategies which might be adopted by the
students for the enhancement of their listening skills are going to be discussed as follows:
Pick up necessary key points: In order to develop learning skills and capabilities, it has
been said that every student show pick necessary points from the lectures and note it down in
order to learn them for a longer period of time. With the help of picking key points or necessary
elements from the overall session , it will become easy for students to learn them in a quick and
easy manner. Along with this, it has also been identified that this will assist in creating
concentration power by preparing notes during and after the online lectures session.
Practice active listening daily: For beating the competition level in an effective manner,
it is very essential for students to actively listen all the sessions so that they can improve their

listening ability. For improving the listening skills it is required by individuals, or students that
they focuses on their tutors and teacher that what they are teaching, saying and explaining. This
will leads to develop effective results within given time frame and aid them in grabbing
opportunities available at the competitive environment.

For every students teachers are the one who assist them to learn new and innovative things
by explaining them in simple and easy manner. It is examined that teacher’s and lecturers assist

they can improve learning of their students. These strategies are as follows:

minimum contain 40-60 minutes which becomes tough for students to remain focused. For this,
it becomes essential to the teachers that they must break the duration of their online sessions so
that students feel fresh and become more concentrated and focus. Along with this, it has also
been said that by doing discussions about various current topics help in learning more about new
things which aid in attaining opportunities in an effective manner. This will aid students in order
to learn the topic in more easiest and simplest way during online sessions in an effective manner.

of contribution and taking proper insights. Some of recommendations that can be used by
teachers in this context are mentioned below:
 In respect of current case and situations, it has been recommended to the individual to
must be understand the meaning of online classes and it is essential in today's scenario
because it increase the importance of digital medium. In that it is a best method to
studying through online in that way teacher is more interested to teaching via online
medium. It includes must be needed a effective listener at a point of time studying so
answer the question in point to point and making a clear and curtsey notes which is
simply to learn. Further, after the online class must be read notes very carefully and find
out the mistakes and written them or if it is sought out itself so solve them otherwise
must be written and then solve on next online class with the help of teacher.
 Another recommendation is important for student perspective it is included student
before the class well prepare for the topics which is teacher teaching in the class so it
can able to easily understand the topic at a time of class. It also be concluded must be
improve the listening skill and writing skill which help lot for future perspective. Most
of the time individual is not good in listening skill and speaking skill due to not found
great opportunities in career.

 It is also concluded in order to teachers must be take feedback from the students because
it is necessary process for both of them. Feedback session help lot in term of teacher
point of view and student point of view because from student side on regular basis solve
the doubts so more clear all the topics and from the teacher perspective to know about
teaching method it is proper or not. It has been making interactive sessions so students
must be motivated and work effective manner. It has been also used various
methodology and technique like graphs, attractive images and presentation which is
create a more attraction for the students.

With the help of information mention above, it is concluded that usage of online
platforms increases day by day along with educational field. It is examined that for enhancing the
listening skills it is necessary to understand the lecture given during online platforms such as
Zoom. Along with this, it has also been analysed that various strategies are used by teachers so
that they can help their students to remain concentrated and improve their listening skills in an
effective manner. This will aid them in order to gain good marks in their academic session and
grab opportunities available at the competitive marketplace.
