INTRODUCTION
Managing communication is that process for transferring or exchanging the
information or to share the opinion with each others. In organisation there should be an
effective communication between the employees and customers to retain in the market. In
organisation communication can be two types that is external and internal communication. It
depends upon the enterprises that which kind of information they uses (Anantatmula and
Thomas, 2010). While using the proper communication process it motivates the employees
and staff to do their work properly. Leaders in the organisation has to make the effective
communication with all as it will also increase productivity. The present report is based on
ABC company which is providing the various food items to customers within European
Union. In present report the internal and external sources has been done for making the
effective communication properly. Further, identification of stakeholders has been evaluated
which help the organisation in taking the proper decisions and to create the personal plan for
the improvement of the communication skills has been discussed.
TASK 1
1.1 Decision of different stakeholders for up a new business
For setting up the new business decision making is important as it include the
selection of course of action which are to be taken by the enterprises for attaining the targets
with in time period (Austin and Pinkleton, 2015). There are different stakeholders and their
decisions are affect he whole organisation. The following decision is taken by the different
stakeholders of ABC company.
Operational decision – These decisions are taken by the middle and junior level of
employees or managers of ABC company. These decisions are related with the day to day
activities. These decision are based on the facts which are collected form the customers and
helps them in taking the correct judgements.
Strategic decision – These decisions are taken by the top authorities and the set the
targets and goals of the company. Generally these decision are complex in nature. These
decision can affect the decisions of senior managers for the improvement of quality of
services. The managers have to take the risk for achieving the long term objectives. These

decision are deal with the harmonizing the resources in appropriate manner to attend the
opportunities (Caracaş and et. al., 2011).
Tactical decision -While taking these decisions it helps the managers to implement
proper strategies which are adopted by the middle level management of ABC company.
Through these decisions the managers can also evaluate their infrastructure facilities which
are provided to customers. The managers have also to provide the proper operation to
employees with appropriate adjustments which helps them in achieving the objectives of
company.
1.2 Information and knowledge which are required for making the decisions
The manager of ABC company have to take the decisions for the improvement of the
quality of services and and for the organisation by using proper information. Along with this
the employees and staff should be aware about the organisation missions and visions with the
company targets (Coombs and Holladay, 2011). For starting the new business in new country
and wants to sell the food at high quality then the managers have to set the future plans and
actions for the achievement of business objectives. The managers of cited company should
have the knowledge and skills which differs from the functions of various departments and
helps them for achieving the targets of the organisation.
The manager have to make the proper coordination with employees so that they will
work in appropriate manner. The employees should get the appropriate knowledge regarding
their task so that they can not face any obstacles for achieving the short and long term
objectives. To increase the knowledge of employees and workers the managers have to
provide training and development programme so that it will also increase their efficiency
towards their work. ABC company have to fulfil the needs of workers so that they can
perform their responsibilities in good manner. In modern era, the customers wants high
quality of food so the manager have to use proper information to provide the good food to
consumers. Proper knowledge and information should be used the members which also helps
them for taking the corrective decisions (Coombs, 2014). When the members are taking the
correct decisions, it is the important part for the value judgement of ABC food company.
1.3 Internal and external source of informations
In organisation the two types of sources of information has been used which helps

which are receiving form the outside is external source of information.
Internal source – The internal source of information are collected without the help of
researcher. It includes the different types of sources of information such as sales,
manufacturing, marketing and many more. The manager have to monitor the sales
information which are based on the products and services are offered to the customers.
Manufacturing information, the manager should know about the cost of manufactured goods
which also includes the wages paid to the staff, cost of raw materials. Marketing information
includes the team have to identify the products and services which can be offered to
customers (Cornelissen, 2014).
The suitability and reliability of internal source of information is up to the
organisation through this ABC food company can not identify the proper needs of customers
and can not retain for a long period of time in competitive market.
External source - the external source of information help the organisation to take
correct decision for targeting the business objectives. The company must be sure about the
reliability reliability of data which are collected. It includes the trade grouping, governments,
data base and research. The information which are revived from government is reliable
source. ABC food company have to use legal information which are provided by government
and helps them to run the business successfully in competitive market. While receiving the
information from the data base and research it helps the company to maximize their sales and
the level of interest of business in competitive market. These information ensure about that
these are accurate and reliable.
1.4 Recommendation for the improvement of information and knowledge
In following areas ABC company have to make the improvement for the better
achievement of organisation goals (Dean and Oetzel, 2014).
Personal and legal consideration – The managers have to find out the sources of
information which helps them to provide the qualitative of data. The managers should know
about the rules and regulations which are made by the administrative bodies and have to
apply the proper policies for running the business as well as by legally also. The manager
have to conduct market research time to time to identify the requirements of customers so that
the organisation can sell the foods on the basis of there needs and through this they can

improve the productivity and proficiency of enterprises. The organisation have to
acknowledge the knowledge on regular basis for attaining the targets of firm with in time
period.
Financial consideration – The members of ABC food company have to proper utilise
the funds in getting the information from different sources. It will also help them in
improvement of their quality and services and to provide high quality of food. The manager
have to share these information with the employees and staff so that they can also improve
their skills and give the best possible of outcomes from using the resources (Domingo,
2011). The information should be used in appropriate manner and it should be differ from the
different departments. The top authority have to proper utilize the funds for the improvement
of their productivity.

2.1 List of stakeholders
There are many stakeholders in organisation who invest their funds for start-up
business in competitive market. These stakeholders also assists in launching the new products
and services to attract the new customers. There are two types of stakeholders i.e. internal and
external and these explanation are as below.
Internal stakeholders – They are those people who are committed towards the
serving the organisation as donors, board, staff members. These stakeholders have right to
participate in the decisions of the managers. They are influence by the success or failure of
the enterprises because they invest a huge amount of funds. Internal stakeholders are highly
influenced by the performance, stability and other activities which are performing by ABC
food company (Geppert, Roessler and Avaya, 2010). If there is absence of internal
stakeholders then the business entity can survive in competitive market for a long period of
time.
External stakeholders – These are those person who are not interested in the
management activities but they indirectly affect by the organisation decisions. These
stakeholders are also know as the secondary stakeholders. These person are suppliers,
customers, governments, competitors and many more. These stakeholders controls the
strategic resources such as raw material, money and labour. They are not having any idea

company have to make strong relations with those people who helps them in achieving the

business relationships with the employees as well as with customers. The manager have to
follow a professionals rules, process and standards for achieving the business objectives with
in time period (Goins and Pye, 2013).
Identified shared goals and values – The manager have clearly defined their goals to
the employees so that they can not face any issues in relation to complete their task.
Regarding this the manager have to provide the proper training and development programme

Creditors and Suppliers - These are the members who deliver the raw materials to
the company. On the basis of such raw material prices company fixes the final prices of the
outputs. So, these are much spacial persons who takes part in effective decision making in the
organisation. ABC company is engaged in food sector as such persons plays a key role in
deciding the price of the final products.

is defied as the official channel of communication. In this process reliability is high but the
passing of information is too slow (Jablin and et. al., 2011). It takes a lot of time in passing a
single view. Because it follows a proper channel. This is so effective way of passing
information but takes a lot of time due to following s systematic chain. In this form, full
secrecy is maintained. The tstaff members of ABC co. have to follow a proper chain of
passing information.
Informal communication: In this channel of communication there is no specific
chain which have to be follow. The information can be interchanged without using any kind
of official channel. Another name of this type of communication process is grapevine
communication. In this process reliability is less but the speed is high as compared to formal
chain. It does not take much time in passing of the information. Their is no written
documentary evidence of passing the view. This process saves times of workers but also
saves the time of information pass on. The decision making process is also become fast due
to less time consumption (Jalil, Ergen and Wichorus, 2013). But it also increases the number
of rumours in an organisation.
3.2 Ways to inculcate appropriateness
This vision is more convenient for strategic business terms rather than any technical
business and it have to work in a proper manner. And also helps to motivate managers to
work jointly for achieving common goals of an organisation. Here are some certain ways
