The personal and professional development is referred to as the process by which the
organisation and the individual engages in the learning process in order to meet their goals and
challenges. This development helps the individual in developing itself overall and contributes to
its successful career. It helps in understanding the job role and focuses on improving and
developing the skill in order to perform the job roles and responsibilities adequately. Work based
learning is a kind of strategy which helps to give real work life experience to individuals so that
they can apply their technical and academic skills. This will ensure development of
employability skills which is useful in professional development. The organisation chosen for
this report is Tesco, a multinational British company dealing in retail industry. It was established
in 1919 and is headquartered in UK. This report shall cover the personal and professional
training needed to perform the desired job role, the professional and personal learning and
development needs for the organisation, how employee motivation can be improved and a
comprehensive project with the solutions to the problem. Further it will cover the tools which
can used to evaluate the project and a reflective report.

professional to work with a large organisation as an HR manager that is Tesco. In regards to the
performances and responsibilities of an HR advisor and manager of the organisation I found out
that there are certain problems and challenges that are being faced by the entity in regards to its
workforce which is causing high influence on the overall performances of the organisation. In
response to the HR manager role I found out that the company is being facing the issue of poor
communication channels due to which sever consequences are coming in the pathway of the
identify the internal opportunities from which improvement may be made, through this company
may set there target of working and may check and compare the under performed employers
with the efficient one this mainly helps in the growth of the company and helps to measure there
companies performance and its various products growth and processes.

Provide a Reflective Report based on your observations, experiences and recommendations
pertaining to Tasks 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5.
In accordance to the discussion conducted in the above tasks basically a reflective
journey is provided in the above mentioned activities. To begin with my personal understanding
and knowledge about the required job role and my professional career path is identified and
determined. In the first section of the report the discussion is conducted on my desired future
career goal and the different training statues I require in order to develop those career goal. Wild
going through the first activity I clearly determined that my desired future career option is of
becoming an HR advisor of a well known organisation.
According to my understanding in an HR advisor of a company do have certain roles and
responsibilities which day perform in order make sure that the organisation they are working for
is highly successful in attaining its objectives and fulfilling its requirements regarding the

the entity. Through professional development plan identify the circle skills that are needed to be
increased. the first area of learning on which I concentrated is of team working skills which is an
attractive source for back the enthusiasm within the workforce and making them highly
encouraged to work with their well in regards to offer the best to the company. The next area on
which I concentrated in the professional development plan is of developing positive working
environment for the workforce within the workplace. In regards to my opinion as the HR
manager and advisor of Tesco it is an important criteria for the company to focus on that is to
render the best suitable for environment to the employees in order to make them work efficiently
and effectively for the agenda of the company.

comprehensive project a design in order to recommend some appropriate solutions to Tesco in
order to overcome its challenges and barriers regarding the people. The two key concerning
problems which was being faced by Tesco poor communication channel and ineffective
leadership strategies adopted by the management. In accordance to my viewpoints and
understanding I recommended some solutions to the company for reducing its challenges like
developing effective communication channels, making approaches and styles more flexible and
adaptable by the people of the organisation as well as increasing employee engagement within
the firm bringing out the best innovative results out of the performances and activities conducted
by the workforce.
Lastly, in the first task of the report identified certain monitoring and evaluating tools for
the organisation in order to make progress and bring betterment within the company. One
effective tool which was adjusted to Tesco is refusing questionnaires and survey. The
questionnaires and survey reports will help the company to acquire feedbacks from staff and
members associated in order to know the root cause of the problem of poor communication and
leadership of Tesco. These are the certain activities which is conducted by me in the above
sections of the report but a beer recommendation which needs to be involved in the solutions for
the company is increasing employee engagement within the organisation in order to develop a
