QUESTIONS 2
In USA, incarceration has always been the punishment’s form in correction system. The
incarceration is being restricted in the prison to persons who are blameworthy of the crime. It is
for punishing the people to commit crime and hope that when being locked up, they would be
taught from the mistake. They will become good human being. The incarceration is required to
be used for the crimes of offences such as deal with drug, rape, kidnap and theft. The persons
committing the crimes would place them repeatedly. There are terrible such as killing people,
robbery, drugs and others, the criminal must be in bars. It is essentially required that the drugs
should be restricted in the world. Drugs are sullying the young people as well as ending the
career and life. Being incarcerated means that offender must be in prison with others that have so
many crimes. All criminals or offenders should not be incarcerated. The incarceration is also the
manner to help the prisoners for trying and redeeming themselves as well as come back in the
society as a good person (Pratt, 2018).
Further, a continuous access to dealing after incarceration is very much essential for
previous prisoner who is not fit mentally. So far as, the mentally sick criminals typically go out
of the prison without job and income’s sources. The people would not be capable to pay for and
obtain mental health care in absence of the public assistance. The government is unwilling to
provide financial resources required to make sure prisoner is humane and that they render proper
mental wellbeing service. Moreover, the prisons are burgeoning. Since 1990, the number of
people kept in either jail or prison has enhanced radically, from 1.1 million to 2 million. Firstly,
the number of offences enhanced, leading to the more number of offenders to get punishment
(Clear & Frost, 2015).
