STRATEGIES FOR THE
INCLUSION OF ALL
CHILDREN

1. Analysis of the additions needs of every children is important because it plays vital role
in serving satisfactory care and learning environment to child according to their
behaviour. Further, providing additional needs to provide comfortable learning
environment to children plays an important role in supporting growth of child like,
providing hearing impairment to partially deaf child, providing wheel chair to support
movement of physically challenged children. Fulfilment of these additional needs assist
in providing comfortable and learning environment to children.
2. According to National quality standard it has been determined that there are seven quality
areas which are linked to inclusion of all children in early childhood education and care
services that is Educational program and practice, Health and safety of children, physical
environment, staffing arrangements, relationship with children, partnership with families
and communities and leadership and governance. In all seven areas two quality standards
plays vital role in establishing effective learning care environment for children which are
as follows:
Health and safety of children in which the care takers and educators ensures child in
living healthy lifestyle with minimum risk of getting injured or harm. Further, it focuses on
safety in which the institution makes sure that there is effective emergency management system
and child protection by staff and educators.
Relationship with children is the most effective approach of inclusion plan as in this the
according to NQS staff is responsible for treating every child with respectful and responsive
learning. The staff is responsible for providing sense of belonging and security to children.
3. Communicating success of child to family is important and assist the families in ensuring
that there child is growing and safe and learning environment. Moreover, in accordance
to quality standards of NQS its has been determined that it the duty of care centre to have
collaborative partnership with families and communities. Four examples of
communicating success of child to families are as follows:
If in case a child is suffering from Autism and he reasons isolated from other children's but with
the use of gaming tools in inclusion plan he started taking to people and making friends than this
is denoted communicated to parents and families in meeting which is called off after specific

period. Organising learning session for children and involving parents is the best way which can
assist in communicating about child success with parents on regular basis
If in case child has started following the learning hart without any forceful efforts then this will
communicate through telephonic conversation as it will assist in making parents comfortable
about child growth and physical environment and services of care centre.
If in case child stated involving in learning plans than it can be communicated to family by
calling them on urgent notice and demonstrating success live.
If in case the child has started taking proper meals and medication than this will be
communicated via mail in order to make family secure about the services of care centre.
4. There are numerous cases in which the educators and families give n the learning of child
but this do not say that the child would not be able to learn forever instead it is important
for the parents and educators to keep motivating child to learn by implementing the use
of various tactics. For instance, if in case child is unable to learn minor things like
counting 1 to 20 or alphabets than in such case educators and parents lost confidence in
him and due to this situation it is possible that the morales of child get degraded therefore
in this case, the family and educators are responsible for implementing the use of audio
visual tools of learning because it is common technique which helps minors in grabbing
things fast.
5. Gaming tools and techniques - Audio, visual, puzzles, These tools will assist in child
inclusion and adaption in new environment as it is the technique which keeps child
involved in playing and learning activities. Further, implementing the use of these
techniques assist the educators in providing comfortable easily adaptable environment to
children's which keeps them distracting from their weaknesses
Hearing impairment tool - staff who can monitor and understand the use of sign language, This is
most common need of children in inclusion plan suffering from partial hearing impairment and
therefore it is important for the staff to provide hearing impairment tool which will assist in easy
involvement for children in education and centre. Thus, it is effective because it will remove the
child conscious for not being normal like other children.
Customized chairs and path way- Easy and simple path way and trained supervisors It is the most
common and effective need of physically disabled children therefore providing customized
wheel chair and framing easy and simple path way is the technique which will assist in fulfilling

additional need of physically challenged people and it will assist them in adapting the
environment of care home.
6. Indigenous children are the part of aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, the society
which is not the part of Australia and lives on island near Australia. According to
Australian society these people cannot be considered as the part of society because these
people follow different culture and have different living standards and life style.
However, it is important for the educators to understand that these people and children
are not at all different therefore in training the staff will be provided training regarding
the norms and practices. Providing cross cultural training is the most effective strategy
which can assist in making educator aware about the aboriginal people and their cultural
beliefs and values. This ensures that the practices of care centre are safe and equal
environment for children without any children.
7. There are various benefits of working with families of children in partnership which are
represented in following five examples:
If in case the child has suddenly stopped having meal properly than communicating to parents is
the most effective step as family understand the requirement of child and can assist the educators
in making changes as per stated by family.
If in case child has started behaving aggressive than in this case only parents and family can
assist care takers to make changes in environment accordingly.
If in case the child has started getting isolated from friends and educators in education centre
than in this scenario only family and parents of child can assist the learners in analysing the
reason behind the changes in the behaviour's child.
If in case child suddenly got unconscious than only parents can assist care takers in analysing the
reason behind this because these are the individuals who understands every basic requirements of
child.
If in case child got rashes just after eating food than in this case educators are responsible for
asking family about the allergic requirement and food items for child. This partnership and
communication is the only tool which can helps the care takers in handling child.
8. Auditory processing disorder is the hearing disability in which the person is unable to
coordinate and hear effectively according normal children. In such cases child gets
isolated because according to him or her or she is not normal as per surrounding.

Therefore, in such scenario it is important for the educators and care takers to provide
hearing tools to children. Moreover, it is important for them to coordinate with each other
in order to make child comfortable in environment and surroundings. Thus, it is
important for learners to implements the use of sign language in order to provide
comfortable and appropriate learning environment to children suffering from APD.
9. In accordance to this scenario the best thing educator can do to explain male gender
about the use of fair wings is making use of visual technique in which educator will show
fairy movie to child which is the best way that will assist in differentiating between the
use of wings. It is the vest tactic which helps in making children understand the
importance of situation and circumstances. It is technique which is beneficial in making
child understand the concept without even making discrimination on the basis of gender.
Organising role pay activities in which only allowing girls to wear fair wings is the
activity which will assist the educator in defining the use of fairy wings to child without
discrimination.
10. In case when the first language of child is not English it is important for the educators to
understand the level of understanding of specific child like in case where learners are
responsible for guiding child to draw picture and he or she is not comfortable with
English, then the learner will make use of learning techniques like, audio, visual, etc. In
this the learner will provide picture of the thing which need to draw by the child. It is the
strategy which is used for communication in cases of language barrier. Thus, it is the
strategy which will remove the obstacle between learner and child and will motivate
individual to learn and communicate with educator. Hence, with the help of picture, the
visual tool of communication child will be able to draw and paint the picture as per step
wise instruction.
11. As per the chasing it is important for the child to implements the use of gross motor skills
which is physical movement of body to demonstrate and prove the situation to someone
else. But as per the scenario when the child with gross motor deficits n chasing game
need to demonstrate the situation and the right wrong of the situation the child can chase
the person who demonstrate the characteristic which relates to situation, In this the
educator is responsible for providing additional needs to support child learning and

inclusion in learning activities. Moreover, the child can praise quality of person by
representing characteristic of specific person.
12. Integrity plays a vital role in performing and implementing effectiveness in work
practices. Lack of integrity is dangerous and harmful for the individuals related to certain
situation. For example if in case care cares at education and care centre are responsible
for regulating and reporting about the changing needs of child but due to lack of honesty
and moral values the care takers forwards wrong information about child in order to
reduce its work can harm the health and safety of child. In accordance to this, example it
has been demonstrated that it is important the person to follows integrity and report
faithfully as the lack of practices can be dangerous and life threatening.
13. Criticising the people is establishing negativity in surrounding which is most common
unethical practice for example, if in case there is child in care centre who is been
suffering from mental disability due to which the functioning and performing ability of
child is slow than in this case if educator will humiliate the action of child than it is
possible that the child can get isolated or can be aggressive some times. Therefore, it is
important for the individuals understand the importance of situations and circumstance
because criticising someone can be life threatening and harmful for mind.
14. Refusing to listen to someone due to personal values or differences can be harmful like
for instance, if in case a teacher who belongs to aboriginal society of Australia works in
education centre called off a meeting of parents about their child growth and
development. Further, the discussion with educator will involve good and bad points
about the child. However, after meeting its has been found that parents disagree to the
growth and development plan of children because the teacher is from indigenous society.
This, negligence and behaviours of parents can harm the growth of child because of their
personal behaviours and attitude of thinking.
15. Lack of trust on certain group of people is the most common problems these days which
is generally faced in schools and business organisations. For example, if in case the
teachers of education centre planned meeting of parents for making changes in child
development plan, but the parents did not agree to change due to lack of trust because the
teachers who suggested changes where aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander. Further, in
case the parents are wrong because if these teachers can handle their child and these

individual have right to suggest changes as per the success and growth of child. In
accordance to this lack of trust of families and people can harm the future growth and
success of child.
16. Not respecting the beliefs and values of some specific people is the major problems faced
by Australian citizens. In Australian indigenous people are not considered as part of
society and it is the reason the Australian people do not trust and values the beliefs of
aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander which can lay negative impact on many situations.,
For example, if in case there is educator in education and care home from indigenous
society and she is perfect in handling medication and therapies. Further, in care home
suddenly one child soddenly faints due to some allergic reaction in this scenario the
educator and practitioner suggest the breathing therapy as per the cultural belief which
can normal the condition of child but to lack of respect and trust on the beliefs of nurse
the parents and others educators do not allow treating child. Hence, as per the situation
not trusting the practitioners because of this culture and beliefs can be dangerous and life
threatening.
17. As per the situation it is important for the educators to understand the situation and to
know whether the child is aware about the difference or not. Further, it is important for
the educator to make child understand that this is also normal family like every other
children. Further, as per the situation the individual will helps the child in understanding
there is no difference between mother and father both equally loving and caring for child.
Therefore, motivating and asking child to draw and paint cards for father is the strategy
which will assist in demonstrating respect to child, his family, circumstances and
background.
18. As per the situation I will first focus on motivating child to write like others kids it is the
tactics which will help in representing the child has no difference and he or she is like all
other students. Moreover, it is the duty of educator motivate the writing skills and pencil
holding tricks of child. It is important because there are people who are normal but still
can not even write properly therefore appreciating writing and holding skills which boost
the morale of child. Apart from this, providing and helping child with writing his or her
name is the another effective strategy which will helps the individual in analysing the
importance and over coming physical disability.

19. Australian society is influenced by Britain culture which is multi-ethnic. There are
various activities of British culture which assist Australian society in child learning and
development programme like,
Informal setting in education institution: It is the practice which assist the Australian care and
education institution in promoting learning and growth of child. For instance, educators provide
friendly environment to children's for learning and playing which assist the child in getting
comfortable and friendly in environment very easily.
Practice what you preach: It is the concept in which assist the educators in providing positive
learning to children. For instance, if child has lack of integrity but believes in god than in this
scenario the educators assist the child in analysing that it is import for the individuals to practice
things in normal life which being preacher like which are being considered in front of god.
Celebration of festivals and cultural beliefs: This activity in education institution and care centre
assist in motivating and helps in enhancing their spirit of learning about different cultures and
their beliefs. This celebration is the ultimate strategy which is followed at the time
implementation of inclusion plan.
Practising Ethical values: This helps the children ion learning about the basic values and beliefs
which individual is responsible for considering entire his or her life. This helps the child in
developing a sense of respect for each other as the British cultural beliefs are focused in
implementing equality and values of diversity.
Role play: It is activity which enables generous way of learning. It is the strategy which is the
influence of British culture and helps in Australia in developing understanding among children
about the situation, Consequences and the circumstances.
20. The children's who are conscious about the things can be assisted with the visual learning in
which the educator can show them the film and picture which represent the view and activities of
beach.
For Kinaesthetic learner educators will implement the use of physical role plays activities
because these are children's who are curious about the situation and circumstances therefore to
provides them effective learning educators implements the use of physical learning life use of
puzzles, gaming tools etc.
In this the educators will implement the use of different rhythms and music recordings which
demonstrate the environment of beach.

For these children, educators will directly teach them verbally about the beach by demonstrating
various examples which are easy to grab.
For Auditory learners the teacher will assist them in listening various examples and situation
which are the examples of beach scenario and activities.
21. Additional needs of child arise with requirements or disability therefore it is important for
the educators to fulfil additional needs to child in order to support their growth and
development. Further, providing them additional needs like, tools such as hearing
impairment tool for deaf child, customized wheel chair for the physically disabled child.
These are needs which helps them to fulfil their basic requirements and attaining personal
goals with learning. Fulfilments of additional needs by care and education centre helps in
providing support of children's in their learning and growth practices.
22. The fairness concept is directly related to Equality and diversity concept. Like there are
different type of children's in education centre who are different on the basis of culture,
background, beliefs. Therefore, it is important for the educators to ensure that the
individual desire getting equal support of learning and for growth regardless of their
difference because it is the only practice which represents the fairness and equality of
educators which assist in providing effective growth of child. Thus, attitude of teachers
towards each and every child is the evidence equality practices in education and care
centre which denotes their capability of handing and managing growth of every children's
with different attitudes and behaviours.
23. In order to make children learn about the similarities and differences the best activity
teachers can implements the use of role play activity because it is the activity which focus
on physical participation of children. This assist in learning about similarities and
differences because in this every child individually experiences the situation which helps
them in making judgement. In this the child experiences the situation and scenario it is
the best activity which helps the child in analysing the similarities and difference. For
instance, teacher wants to make children learn about Indigenous people to over come the
difference and to represent their feeling. In this case some of them will be dressed normal
like Australian society and some of them will dress and behave like aboriginal society.
This will help in making difference in two culture and its impact on the mind. Therefore,
as the example, role is the activity which can assist educator in making child learn about

similarities, differences and interdependence. Apart from this comparing and contrasting
is the practical activity which is conducted by educator with the helps of digital and
gaming tools. In this the teachers will provide different paying tools and their usage
which is the most effective technique of analysing similarities, interdependence and
dissimilarities. Further, to develop strong understanding the teachers demonstrate critical
example with the helps of tool. It is the most effective technique that assist children in
analysing difference and similarity in situation and circumstances.
24. The children suffering for autism are vulnerable to changes and are very sensitive
therefore it is important for the educators to handle such patients with care and love. For
instance, if in case a child is aggressive to changes than in such situation the educator and
scare takers are responsible for managing the safety of other kids and also should
understand the tactics to calm child because the behaviours can be dangerous and life
threatening. If in case child do not interact with anyone than it is important for the
educator to enable positive and playful environment around the child. It is the tactic
which will assist increasing participation of child. If in case child is scared of physical
environment than in such cases educator should aim at creating curious physical
environment near child. This strategy of teacher will motivate child inclusion in plan. If
in case child is scared and do not involve in activities then forcing individual is not a
solution instead educator should aims at creating new and different environment for child
according its comfort zone. Calming the chaos of brain, providing learning through mind
distracting activities focusing on building brain health are the strategies which can assist
educator in dealing with child suffering from autism.
25. Attitudes: Attitude plays a major role in child inclusion and development plan.
Therefore, it is important for the educator to have the skills of understanding the
managing different behaviours and attitude of child.
Inadequate provision of support services: The practices and procedures of education and care
centre plays major role in inclusion plan and can be Barrier to child learning and growth. Like
the parents asked not to do something which can harm the stability of mind but as educator it is
the only strategy which can assist in child learning and this provision with parents becomes
barrier to child learning.

Communication and language: It is the most common barrier in children's learning because there
are various children from different backgrounds understanding different languages. Therefore,
making all children's understand one common language is the common barrier of child learning.
Underdevelopment and Poverty: It is natural and no one can be discriminated on the basis of this
factor. However, there are many houses in Australia who can not afford education and learning
of child which is the barrier to child development.
Disability: When a child is suffering from any disability than according to that person the
individual is different from normal people and cannot able to deal with surroundings unlike other
kids.
Inflexible curriculum: When the child is unable to stay in the surroundings and environment
provided by education and care centre is the most common barrier to child learning.
Appropriate environment: Th physical environment around the child is the situation which
reflects child development but if in case child is not getting use to environment and surrounding
of education and care centre than it becomes hindrance to child learning.
26. Children are very sensitive to changes and therefore it is important for the teacher to
regularly focus on the surrounding of children when learning, eating, playing etc. In case
of child where first he was comfortable with the surrounding and is now started crying a
lot, I will focus on evaluating the regularly day behaviour of child in which I will focus
on noticing the eating and playing activity because these are activities which direct affect
human mind. Suspecting the changes in the behaviour of child at initial stage is important
because in helps in eliminating the risk factor. Apart from this, Seeking assistance from
specialist adviser is the best decision and strategy which can helps in evaluating treason
behind changes in behaviours of child.
27. Discussing concerns of children to others is important because it helps in analysing

28. Specialist adviser are registered medical practitioners who plays a vital role in managing
and assisting inclusion plan like for example,
if in case a child suddenly started behaving vigorously and crying and in this case only medical
practitioner can assist educators and care takers in analysing the reason behind because he or she
is the person who understand medical terms and reason behind changing behaviours of child.
Further, specialist advisers are the individual who are aware about the child and their
medications so he or she is the right person who can assist in managing change in behaviour.
If in case the child is suffering from Autism, then only medical practitioners can assist the staff is
determining the effective step for inclusion of child in learning and playing activities because the
person suffering from Autism are vulnerable and sensitive to changes.
If in case the child is facing difficulty in managing the dietary routine than only specialist advisor
can assist care takers in setting time for every meal after diagnosing the body functioning of
child.
If in case a child is suffering from Thlesinia in which it is important to change blood from human
body after the cycle of 120 days. Therefore, in such scenario it is important for the staff to take
assistance from specialist advisor about the routine check-up because negligence can be life
threatening.
If in case the staff has prepared a inclusion plan for group of child than it is possible that he kids
go through disorders like, communication gap, lack of attention etc. Therefore, seeking advice
