INTRODUCTION
Diversity and equality initiative offer each individual equivalent resources and
opportunity for ensuring that they are not discriminated due to their characteristic, religion etc.
Business project is defined as a project that is classified by the organisation for generating
content and purpose that benefits organisation to gain better position in market. All business
projects are intend towards accomplishment of business objectives and are aligned with
organisation strategy to complete new project. The existing research project relates with
implementation of employee related policy in the workplace for managing diverse workforce in
the organisation. In current scenario, each organisation work with different number of employees
that belongs to different background and religion so fairness and equality act are two important
aspects which motivate potential employees to retain for longer period in the organisation (Al-
Bayati and et. al., 2017). This report is written from perspective of Fourex and they operate its
business within the financial industry and it is well-known for its money exchange service.
Moreover, this report highlights on project related aim as well as objective and also on the
project management plan. WBS and Gantt chart project management tools will also include in
this report.
TASK 1
P1 Project objective and aim
The expansion of business also enhances number of company operations so to complete all
functions, business or management require more workforce or individuals. Therefore, each
existing small or large organisation adhere diversity and equality policy. It generates the need for
promotion of diversity and equality within the workplace. Therefore, it is essential that
management offer similar and equal opportunity that boost engaged workers motivation for
performing their work in an effective manner. With developing and implementing diversity

initiative, healthy and positive working environment is also generated in organisation (D'Netto
and et. al., 2014). This also helps organisation for developing competitive edge against rivals by
retaining capable workforce for longer period.
Project- Action, activity and work that is completed in an organised manner for accomplishing a
particular outcome from operations is recognised as a project. Moreover, projects are completed
by team to work for a specific task such as to manage company workforce. Project also helps to
complete all activities in decided time period by arranging and utilising existing resources of
organisation.
Project management- The term project management work as a procedure, method, skill,
knowledge and experience that work for completing a specific project (Mathews, 2015). All
objectives and its parameters are undertaken within project management to deliver all objective
within right time.

2014). Further, it works as a positive perspective for team member to identify different
perspective and their role related with project. Scope- The term scope is defined as the method which is used for extending the subject
or area that deals with relevant items. With the broad scope it is analysed that there are
different perspective relates with the topic of equality and diversity. In context of
researcher it helps to understand recruitment and selection, gender discrimination and
management of diverse workforce. This is used to improve knowledge related with
individuals and workforce that helps to investigate better knowledge about human asset. Communication- In order to attain desire results it is essential for researcher to improve
communication system. It governs that by adopting proper communication all team
members are capable to transfer essential and important information that leads researcher
for completing the project according to the deadline (Phillips and et. al., 2016). This also
refers all task are designed in an appropriate manner by communicating with individuals
properly. Moreover, it also offers equal opportunity to all team members in order to
make better decisions. E-mails, chart, blogs, written documents etc. are important
resources which help in generating communication matrix between researcher and team
members. Resources- Books, magazine. Journals etc. are some secondary resources that are
required by the researcher for completing the research. With engaging all this documents
it is analysed that researcher is able to gain better results that helps in collecting all

computer system are also required by the researcher for completion of report
appropriately that represent meaningful information from research.
Cost- To manage and complete research in an appropriate manner it is identified that
there are different areas included in this research. This all are used to manage and
complete research with more efficiency but to manage them all it is essential to analyse
right estimation of cost that helps in completion of research with more efficiency.
(Phillips and et. al., 2016). The estimated cost for this research project is about £300
which is used for transport, communication and purchase of essential research resources.
It also helps to perform research within decided budget. Time- For generating tough competition researcher is focused to complete research in
minimum time period. The estimated time period for this research is six to seven weeks,
along with this investigator also decided benchmark to ensure that all information is
relevant and appropriate for organisation. This also defines that researcher utilise quality
information and modern techniques such as internet to complete research on time. Quality- All the data and information which is utilised by researcher is gathered with
primary data method. Survey, questionnaire, focus group etc. are some of the effective
techniques that are used for gathering right information by interacting with respondents
directly. To ensure the quality of information investigator or researcher adopts primary
research method to complete research in an effective manner. Quality control chart also
work as an effective tool for maintaining the quality of project that helps to enhance
research quality (Syed, 2020).
Risk- In order to complete the assigned research appropriately researcher identify
different risk factor like, less interest of respondents, no response from team-members,
ineffective communication skill. So with risk analysis techniques investigator reduce risk
within the research. This also ensure more number of people assure their view point
which is important to complete the project. Further, risk analysis also helps to answer all
questions by analysing different risk or threat related with research.

Gantt chart- It is one of the effective project management tool that illustrate different bars

information in graphical form so it is easy to analyse the time perspective of each activity for

helps to break down the project in small components. WBS is one of the most effective tools of
project management and it helps in delegating complex task into smaller terms. It helps to

Research design- The term research design is explicated as an overall strategy which is
