INTRODUCTION
In current business scenario every businesses have aim to expand them so as to enhance market
share (Benton and et. al., 2017). So it is essential for the workforce to be skilled and full of talent
so that they can perform their task within the business organisation in an effective manner in
order to attain business goals and objectives. When a business is having various set of skill and
talent this is known as diversified workforce which is essential for the businesses to get market
competitive edge and growth. When a workplace environment is created with diversified
workforce this may help the business to gain their objectives on time. In this report the concept
of workforce diversity and equality has explained and for this the company taken in the report is
Tesco Plc. Tesco Plc is a British multinational supermarket which was established in the year
1919. The company is having headquarter in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, England,
United Kingdom. Tesco Plc is having near about 450000 employees in their organisation which
are operating near about 6800 stores around the globe. Importance of diversified workforce is
elaborated in this report which assists the business to build efficient business environment. At
last a small term research is carried out in the last part of report by using different research tools.

With the help of inclusive workforce in the business, the business may have high
efficiency as opinions of employees are included in the process of decision making by this
