Project
AI Summary
This project addresses the lack of wireless connectivity at an Indian university by proposing a new network infrastructure. The project outlines the challenges, including scalability and budget optimization, and justifies the use of Cisco products. It details the required network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and servers, and explains the network design process using the Netsim simulator. The proposed design aims to provide wireless access to students, enhance network security, and reduce business costs. The project discusses the benefits of the new infrastructure, including improved user experience, resource utilization, and the facilitation of services like cloud computing. Limitations are also addressed, such as the need for wired to wireless transitions and the importance of resource utilization. The conclusion summarizes the project's objectives, design, and evaluation, emphasizing the benefits of implementing a wireless network infrastructure and the use of Cisco solutions. The project also includes a list of references used in the design.
