Explaining professional standpoint applying to cultural competence
With the help of the assessment 1 it was evaluated that the professional standpoint
relating to the cultural competence is being developed with help of the use of social media and
news. Earlier there was not much knowledge relating to the indigenous people as I was not
taught much in school and was having only very limited knowledge (Wright and et.al., 2019).
But after some of the research I came to know about the injustice which the indigenous people
are facing. This knowledge has contributed much towards the Yindyamarra Winhanganha which
means wisdom of respectfully the way to live well with respect to the world worth living. This is
very important for the person to understand the way of living and this improves their working
and living efficiency.
The knowledge relating to the indigenous people has expanded the current working and
knowledge towards the way earlier indigenous people were treated. These indigenous people are
the one who are distinct from the cultural and social groups and have ancestral ties with the
natural resources. These people are practitioners and inheritors of some unique culture. Within
Australia these people are also known as the aboriginal Australians and it means that they are
original inhabitant (Weatherall and et.al., 2020). With respect to the aboriginal people there are
many different types of people and there are approximately 500 different aboriginal people being
present in Australia. In addition, it is also stated that earlier the colonisers have come to Australia
and have killed many of the indigenous people. There is not any particular culture being present
in Australia with respect to the indigenous people and rather a combination of various cultures
which make is wide ranging environment.

Describing the social, institutional and historical factors along with ethical issues
The cultural competence with respect of indigenous people competence has improved the
knowledge relating to this concept. There are many different factors which affects the working
and concept of indigenous people and their rights and other information. These factors involve
social, institutional and historical factors. All these factors impact the competence of profession
with respect to indigenous experience in Australian history (Bad news: negative Indigenous
health coverage reinforces stigma, 2022). This is particularly because of the reason that the

current project is relating to Hymba Yumba independent school which is focusing on increasing
high level of engagement between indigenous parents and the teachers of the school. It is very
essential to have a good relation between the teacher and parent so that they can effectively
communicate with one another. In the present culture the indigenous people are not much
provided with all the latest information and things so that these students also get the updated
information. Thus, in the present culture there are latest means of education which is used in
order to develop the student in better manner. Thus, in case these latest education facility is not
provided to the indigenous people then this will be affecting the working to a great extent.
moreover, the different cultural values assist the people in developing the child in better and
good manner. Hence, this will be improving the personal and professional development of
indigenous people.
Further, with the analysis there are different types of the factors which have contributed
towards the development of good knowledge for the indigenous people. This is particularly
because of the reason that currently there are being many measures being taken for the protection
of the rights of the indigenous people. This is particularly because of the reason that in case this
will not be managed effectively then these people will not be provided with proper rights then
this will make them backward from other people (Australia is not a multicultural country, 2022).
In addition to this, the racism and discrimination is also another factor which can affect the status
of aboriginal or indigenous people. When there is more racism being practiced then indigenous
people are not provided with all the facility which need to be provided.
Moreover, in case there is more discrimination and indigenous people are not treated in
proper manner then this also result in bad relation between the teachers and parent of indigenous
people. This is because of the reason that when the indigenous people will be treated in bad
manner then this will be affecting the working efficiency of them and will not be in position to
attain goof knowledge (Cyber terrorism: a clear and present danger, the sum of all fears,
breaking point or patriot games? 2022). In addition to this, the school must focus on the fact that
they must not create any discrimination among the student based on the fact that whether they
belong to indigenous group or not.

Principles to be applied for establishing collaborative partnership with indigenous community
There is different principle which are assistive in establishing and building good
collaborative partnership in order to benefit the indigenous people. These different principle
involves showing respect. This is the most important principle which need to be followed at time
of taking care of the indigenous people. In case proper respect is not shown towards the
aboriginal or the indigenous people then this will affect the working and motivation level of the
aboriginal people. This is pertaining to the fact that when these people will not be provided with
proper respect then it will be affecting their working efficiency. The indigenous people will not
be respected then this will demotivate then and they will not feel belonging to the society. Hence,
for this principle of showing respect is assistive.
In addition to this, the anchor principle is also assistive in building collaborative
partnership with indigenous people and community. This anchor principle is helpful as it focuses
on knowing self. This principle is assistive in developing the cultural competence development.
This is necessary in order to improve the knowledge of oneself relating to the working and
capability of the indigenous people in managing their working (Australia and the Insular
Imagination: Beaches, Borders, Boats, and Bodies, 2022). When the person is in position to
reflect over their learning then this will motivate them to work in better manner. Also, this will
boost the morale of indigenous people and it will help them in sustaining their life in this
discriminating environment.
