Work Package Description
This work package is essential for this project because the outcome of the sign
boards to be implemented at CQU will rely here. This work phase refers to the
choosing of design and canvassing of materials to use in creating the Sign Boards.
The sign boards to be implemented will be printed in PVC materials.
Tools
This work package needs the following materials and tools;
1. PVC material to use as a sign board.
2. Laser printer use to print the indigenous word/s in the PVC materials.
Processes
This work package will undergo to a 3 processes.
1. To look a supplier that will supply the materials and provide ready designs.
2. Selecting preferred design.
3. To review the final result for this work package before deciding.
Procedures
When choosing a materials, certain procedures are required to achieve the best
results of this work package.
First is to find a supplier that will supply all the materials that you need to use for
this project. When deciding who will be the supplier of your materials, consider
your budget and if they can able to supply the material on time. Then also review
the quality of their work. The sign board will have a dimension of 100mmx150mm
and a thickness of 2mm. The total number of sign board to be printed is 300 pcs.
Second is to select the preferred design that are needed for this project. When
choosing the design, quality is very important factor that needed to consider.
Last is to review the sample output of the design. Make sure that the quality of
the output met the requirements given by the client.

Configuration Management Requirements
The project builder and supplier of project materials will define the current
configuration of the work package based on the terms and conditions of the
project based on the requirements which includes the preferred design and the
materials. If the project builder and supplier of project can’t deliver any of the
specifications, reports should be communicated to the project manager.

Constraints
Quality Constraints
The quality of the sign boards will be a constraints given that this project is only
due in 15 days. The supplier of project material will be required to rush a 300
pieces of sign boards and it may result a poor quality in printing the sign board.

Reporting Arrangements
The Project Manager will set a weekly meeting every Friday of the week until the
duration of the work package phase.
Reports will be prepared by the Work Package Team Leader and shall report the
project progress to the Project Manager. All the changes in the project will be
reported to the Project Manager

Problem Handling and Escalation
Any possible high and extreme risks that might occur during this phase will be
reported by the Work Package Team Leader to the Project Manager during
weekly meeting that held every Friday of the week through progress report.
When risks arise, WP Team Leader needs to determine if the risk can be address
an urgent matter or not. If so, WP Team will escalate the issue to the Project
Manager out of session.

Approval Method
The completed project for this work package phase will be approved by the
Project Manager. Mostly, the Project Manager will be advised to approve the
project phase if the completion had meet the necessary requirements of the
project phase.
