INTRODUCTION
Professional and personal development is very crucial for any organisation and
evolution and development of a individual. The aim of professional and personal development is
to assist managing the growth and learning aspects through a career It is very important to
continue the process of learning and development of knowledge and skills to ensure that there is
individual development that is taking place across the pat of career growth of a individual
(Andersson and Jonsson,, 2020). Present report is based on making a detailed evaluation of the
concept of professional development plan that is used for the purpose of achieving the laid
mediums and short term goals for a individual at a particular point of time.
Define the concept of professional and personal development
Professional development: Professional development is regarded as training, education and
certification of a employees that is required to get succeed in their career. Different types of jobs
need different skills. Individuals have to determine the need of professional development that is
regarded as the necessary skills that are required to learn the skills for performing the assigned
job roles and responsibilities (Boonthamweeranat, 2019).

otherwise be difficult to achieve in case there are only specific long run goals. There is breakage
of long run activities in shorter & actionable parts according to the way it can be achieved at a
particular point (Nugroho, 2019). Analysing the progress is one of the key aspect that can help
in resting the in realistic goals. It also leads to affirming of the decisions. Both the long and short
term goals can assist in managing the time for a individual in terms of career and life (Setting a

term goals are the two major elements that lead to achievement of the long term goals for every
individual. Personal development plan is used for ensuring continuous growth & development in
the process of achieving of laid objectives. Personal development plan is very critical for
